Likes
- The college is very big having a lush green campus. Grounds are there for playing sports like football, cricket, courts for badminton, gym.
Dislikes
- The administration charges fees in advance otherwise you will have to pay fine.
- You can't park your vehicle inside the campus.
Remarks :
Firstly, I have chosen this college because of its placement records, lush green campus, and nice infrastructure. Secondly, there are no interviews or written tests for admission. The faculty is also good and supportive.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chosen this course because I want to pursue a career in the technical field and Computer applications. All the faculty here, are PGT qualified. The teaching methods are also very good. There are 2 mid-semester exams in each semester(or say MST). The difficulty level is moderate. There is some hike in fees every year only for new students. Scholarships may include SC/ST scholarship program.
Placement Experience :
The placements are quite good here. The eligibility criteria for placement is the AM-CAT exam. The recruiters include Amazon, Google, etc. The highest package is 45 lakhs, and the average package is 10 lakhs for all the courses.
Campus Life :
The campus life is very good. A big fest named Parivartan takes place every year in October. There are also Star nights and DJ nights. All kinds of books are available in the library. Journals are also there. The classrooms have a nice infrastructure including smart classes, nice sitting facilities, neat and clean, and windy as well. Every year there is a sports meet. There are also intra-college games. There is a Department for Student Welfare (DSW) that conducts many extracurricular activities. There are clubs as well.
Hostel Facilities :
Well, I have opted for the hostel for the 2nd year consecutively. The food quality is good and the food menu changes every week. There is a very simple registration process for a hostel. Simply you just have to pay the hostel fee for 6 months in advance. It is quite affordable. Well, there are also so many rooms, flats and PGs for students in the locality, just at a distance of 1 or 2 Km from the college.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
