- Infrastructure of the college is really nice and beautiful, the people tgere are really helpful and kind, especially the seniors. The seniors have zero attitude of being senior or superior. The overall environment of the college is so wholesome.
- The faculty is so experienced and kind, the guide the students in the best possible manner.
Dislikes
- There is nothing to dislike about Miranda House, it was my dream college afterall.
Remarks :
The admission was given based on a preference system, cuet was the entrance test to be eligible for applying to the class portal of DU, then we had to make a preference sheet of colleges and courses we wanted.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The BA (Hons) Political Science curriculum at Miranda House, Delhi University, is highly relevant and comprehensive. It covers a wide range of political theories, systems, and contemporary issues, ensuring students gain a deep understanding of both classical and modern political landscapes.
Internships Opportunities :
There are no such internship opportunities available in our college, if we wish to do an internship, we need to find it online by ourselves or do the central DU internship. The internship opportunities are not available in Miranda House.
Placement Experience :
There is a placement cell in the college and a central DU placement cell. The placement rate is not very high though, the average package goes from 8-12 lakhs per annum. If you are looking for a college that provides great placement opportunities, then DU is not the right place for you, you must enrol in some private University or college.
Campus Life :
There are many societies and clubs to be a part of in the first year and later on we can even lead those clubs and enhance our leadership skills and overall personality. All these societies conduct their annual fests and there is an annual college fest(tempest)
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is really cheap and all the facilities are available and the food at the mess is also really nice. The security is also good. Overall, the hostel facilities are worth it and no unnecessary rukes and regulations are there.

IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
