A good college to pursue graduation

- The campus infrastructure is really great as it is new and the faculty is also good.
- The college college offers many sports for students who are interested in physical activities.
Dislikes
- The college does not provide hostel services for boys.
- The availability of each and every item on the menu in canteen in not good.
Remarks :
I got into this college through CUET(Common University Entrance Tests) so there was no group discussion or interviews for admission to the college. The college is quite good in its infrastructure and is very clean and green. The faculty is good and many courses are available in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I wanted to do my bachelor's degree to pursue a master's education. The faculty members in my course are generally very qualified and knowledgeable. Most professors hold advanced degrees such as PhDs, in their respective fields. The teaching quality is quite good overall. The professors are approachable and willing to help students outside of regular class hours. The semester exams were moderately difficult. The term exams are held every 3 months. As it is a government college the fee structure is really low.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I have not opted for an internship currently but I plan to participate in one in my 2nd or 3rd year. According to my seniors 50% of the students from my course were able to secure internships during their studies.
Placement Experience :
In my course, 25% of students were successfully placed according to my seniors through campus recruitment. Some of the visited recruiters in past years were Wipro, Flipkart, TresVista, Propacity, Aon, Moglix, etc. The highest package in 2021 was around 15 lakhs per annum, and the average package is about 3 lakhs per annum. My plan after getting the degree is to get admission to a college for a master's degrees
Campus Life :
As the college is newly built it is really clean and has a good infrastructure according to other DU colleges. The college holds fests every year at the end of winter. The library is really big as it is on 2 floors, the top floor holds all the books for every course and reception, and the bottom floor is the study area. The college offers every sport like football, volleyball, cricket, chess, carrom, table tennis, softball, basketball, badminton etc. There are many societies which are mostly run by students.
Hostel Facilities :
So the college only offers girls hostel which is inside the college campus and the boys have to do PGs outside the campus. Their are many apartments and flats near the college that offers PGs for students. The cafeteria is quite spacious and the menu has really good items and the food quality is good.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
