No, because I scored well in my SSC I was selected in Sophia for HSC also and in-house only I did my graduation. The admission process is online and offline both the fee process was online via fee payer. There were no tests or rounds for admission. The cut-off depends on the year and marks totally but most of the girls come from different states and used to study and stay in our college.
As I said I was a house in graduation and for my course, I chose BSCIT because of the methods and interest. The fee structure is minimum as per other colleges. They have various scholarships and hotel availability. The exams were conducted strictly but as the teachers prepared us well we cracked every exam even doing extracurricular activities. Teaching methods are best coz they provide interactive sessions and each one of us has a computer so personal attention was also given.
Internships are paid and unpaid. I have done an unpaid internship. The tasks and projects are given as per the course as BSCIT student we were told to make projects like websites or use Android and other languages.
Yes, campus placements are offered in our college. Companies like Wipro, data analysis companies private companies advertisements are done and placement is taken as per the interview process. Many companies come and take sessions for students who have no idea of plans and can take more courses and become successful in life.
If I talk about the college my days were the best in the college because of the atmosphere, surroundings and teaching methods. The infrastructure is beautiful and we have a big space to see nature because it has a garden area and several trees and plants. Our college is from top autonomous colleges in Mumbai. The teachers are well experienced and academically also we learn soo much. Our most popular fest is kaleidoscope which is held every year. Many stars And shootings also have happened in our college. We have screen times and an end no of fest and different departmental events also as for my course it was an itechnothon which is held every year by students of BSCIT. We have different themes based on it, pub games and talent participant fees are free only for the food stalls and mehendi and face paint charges are minimal. We also have many companies advertising and many job opportunities open in our colleges. There are many clubs like Rotaract and more.
As I used to stay near I have no such idea but the hostel availability is good and the food and fees structure is minimal and time restriction is there and students can afford it and it is in the college only
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
