- I like the campus life! Faculty is also great with very friendly teachers and staff are also very friendly and helpful! Director of nef law college is the ultimate backbone of the entire college and has a great hand in helping students with financial crisis.
- Infrastructure is well developed to support academic and extracurricular activities Moot court Library Computer lab Classroom Seminar hall Parking
Dislikes
- What I Dont like is there is no cafeteria and not all the classrooms has AC There is no college hostel and no such sports facilities also no common room for students
- Campus is not so big but has made a lots of memories in that small area ! Campus location is great but there is a lot of traffic as it is in the middle of the city
Remarks :
NEF Law College has been Ranked 56th among all law universities and law colleges in India and has also been ranked 27th among 30 top private colleges additionally has been ranked as the best law college in north northeast! The rankings and recognition are the absolute reason to take admission here! Also, the admission process is done through entrance held in NEF Law College itself and as I was already preparing for CLAT the exam was not so tough for me.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Courses are done beforehand by the faculty members! Faculty members are well-qualified and have the best teaching methods! There are 2 sessional exams held and the semester exam at the end sem! Also, fees have been hiked by 10000 by now but yet it is quite affordable compared to any other private university. I have no such idea for scholarships and financial assistance
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I did one internship during my course We are allotted to do 2 internships every year with free attendance but if done otherwise attendance will not be given Also, one internship must be done in the 10th semester which is a must for all the students for the completion of the moot court project
Placement Experience :
Placement are provided in the last semester with few seminars held and interviews taken for the selection process The average package as per the companies provided is from 25000 starting. The percentage should be 50% or at least I don’t exactly have an idea about it as they didn’t mental My plan after the degree is to practice in higher court as I want to learn things in the practical field!
Campus Life :
The campus is not that big but yes we had our best memories in these 5 years! The library has almost every book needed Few classrooms have AC in them! There are sports weeks held since last year and a few curriculums such as teachers' day freshers' farewell and college week There are certain pages on instagram for Nef Law College and also a confession page
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel from the college. But certainly, there are a lot of pg and rents available in the area nearby Moreover, the campus is in the centre of the city which is a great factor! There are many rent and Pg’s starting from a decent price and also travelling is easy as there are many travel sources available there

Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.

I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
