Remarks :
The admission criteria are pretty simple, one just has to visit the admission cell and talk to any faculty/staff present there. For Engineering, one must have secured 55% aggregated marks in their 12th class(PCM). No written tests for admissions are conducted. There is no interview but the staff asks general things during admissions. The college is pretty good and gives enough quality education and services which justifies the amount of fee it asks for. Faculty members are highly qualified, polite, and always ready to help students. The campus is neither too vast nor too small. The Wi-Fi facility is there for classrooms and a hostel. All classrooms have projectors and Air Conditioning available. Sem tests are conducted regularly to help students prepare for final exams. Overall college is good
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum for B tech (CSE/IT) is a little old for the first year. But after the first year, the necessary subjects are taught. The faculty is very knowledgeable and experienced. Classes are conducted regularly, Mid sem tests are held every 2 months to help students prepare for Final End sem examinations. Sem exams are easy to mid-scale on difficulty level. A student who has attended lectures and paid attention in class can easily score above 90% marks in Mid-Sems without preparing too much. End Sem exams difficulty vary year to year mostly lying on medium level scale. End sem exam questions are mostly repetitive and preparing all Previous Year Questions would secure at least 60-65% marks.
Internships Opportunities :
My third year will start next month, after 5th sem companies start to visit the campus for internship opportunities. Most companies come hiring for Web Developer and Android developer roles. The stipend provided ranges from 10K to 25K based on the city in which the company is based.
Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are pretty average for engineering students. Around 50-60% of students get placed every year. So far the highest CTC grabbed by a student is 17 LPA with the median package being around 4-5 LPA, companies like TCS, Wipro, Z-scalar, Infosys and many more companies visit our campus every year for hiring students. One must be cleared (no reappears) in exams and have at least a 7.0 GPA to be eligible to sit in most company interviews. The placement session starts in 4th year. In 3rd year, companies come to hire interns, not most students get internships as it is based on their skill level. After 2nd year, the college provides 1.5month of summer training to help students become ready for interviews and placement
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I will be paying around 1 Lakh rupees fee annually which includes 40,000rs tuition fee+ 10,000 rs Transportation (bus) fee i.e. 50,000rs for one semester or 1 lakh rs per year. There are scholarships for those who have scored above 90% marks in the 12th class, SC-ST students have the PMS scholarship due to which they have to pay only a 10% fee themselves. One can also enjoy a sibling scholarship of about 25%.
Campus Life :
Social life is pretty chill here. More than 15 state students study at GGI, some African nationality students are also here. So, students get to meet and know different cultures, Festivals are celebrated every year. Hostel Night is conducted every year. The Department of Student Welfare conducts celebrity events every 2 months, students get to relax and enjoy themselves here. Regular events and competitions are conducted. Our famous Robomania Fest is conducted every year in February. The library is a very important place as it has nearly every book of all courses's curriculum. One can go there take a book and study in peace. You can also issue a book from the library and bring it to your room/home for 15 days. Classrooms are well equipped with smart projectors, white and blackboards and WiFi. 2 Sports grounds are there for students to play, and badminton, volleyball, and basketball courts are there for students. The table tennis table is there. Every year Cricket, football competitions are conducted.
Hostel Facilities :
If a student wants to avail of the Hostel facility, the process is pretty simple and straight forward, the college staff will help you go through the process and explain in detail. According to your budget and comfort, one can select 2 bed,3 bed or 4 bed room with or without attached bathroom. 3-time meals and 1-time breakfast are served every day in a mess. The food menu is fixed for every day of the week/meal and one can find the menu in a mess. The food quality is not good, depends sometimes it is very good and sometimes very poor. The hostel condition is also OKish. The laundry facility is there and can be availed easily.

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
