To gain admission to this college the student has to appear for MHTCET (PCM) which is a yearly entrance exam A student has to clear the cutoff for admission. The computer science branch score should be more than 99.7 percentile ( for the general category)to get easy admission to college. The factor that made me take this college is placements. The overall placements of this college are excellent.
Academics are not that good but college is improving every year. Faculty is good but some of the faculties are bad. The ratio of good to bad is about 3:1 the curriculum is good a student gets enough time to manage his side hustle and academics. Saturdays and Sundays are off here. College timings vary from 4 to 5 hrs to 6 to 7 hrs.
I am currently in the second year of my Btech and working on my internship. Companies visit campus at the start of the 5th semester. I have completed my summer internship in college which was decent and beneficial.
The placement of this college is great. Internship opportunities are also great more than 300 companies visited campus this year. Students get internships in companies like Google and this year a student got an internship of 6L/month. Being a non-IIT institute is a great achievement. If no campus placements are offered the alumni network is great as it's one of the oldest colleges of Maharashtra so getting placement becomes easy.
second year onwards fee structure is 15000 for tuition fees 39850 for development fees 26000 for other fees 1500 for exam fees 500 for alumni association life membership ( sy ) this is for the general category
Campus life is just good. The campus is small so students just go out in the city to enjoy most of the time. Fests are good there are different types of clubs we can be part of. Other than fests there are clubs like VR Racing, SRA( robotics) and much more.
Hostels are not that good. The new hostel for boys is good but many problems are there to face in terms of cleanliness water supply and messy food. Mess food is bad 5/10. There are 2 girls hostel and 3 boys hostel where in each room there are 3 students.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
