B.Tech programs at MMMUT are offered in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Internet of Things, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Chemical Engineering. All B.Tech programs require candidates to have passed 10+2 with at least 55% aggregate marks and qualified JEE Main.
According to MMMUT seat reservation policy, 90% of total B.Tech seats are reserved for home state candidates from Uttar Pradesh. The remaining 10% of seats are reserved for applicants from other states under the supernumerary quota. Candidates from other states must present a domicile certificate of their respective state during admission.
The counselling process at MMMUT consists of 5 rounds: 3 rounds of online counselling, followed by an internal sliding round, and finally 1 offline spot round. Eligible candidates must register on the MMMUT admissions portal to participate. Students get the option to freeze or float their seats as per their willingness in each round.

Admission to B.Tech programs at MMMUT is based on JEE Main rank. The cutoff for JEE Main 2025 has been released. The table below shows the year-wise JEE Main cutoff statistics for all B.Tech specializations:
| Courses | 2025 (Closing Rank) | 2024 (Closing Rank) |
|---|---|---|
| B.Tech Computer Science Engineering | 76643 | 74559 |
| B.Tech Information Technology | 93141 | 83838 |
| B.Tech Electronics & Communication Engineering | 104647 | 92633 |
| B.Tech Internet of Things | 107264 | 95697 |
| B.Tech Electrical Engineering | 128415 | 104291 |
| B.Tech Mechanical Engineering | 177327 | 133782 |
| B.Tech Civil Engineering | 184378 | 139567 |
| B.Tech Chemical Engineering | 184885 | 141508 |
The MMMUT cutoff trend for JEE Main in 2025 shows varying competition levels across different specializations. Computer Science and Information Technology remain highly competitive with lower closing ranks, indicating strong demand. Core engineering branches such as Mechanical, Civil, and Chemical Engineering have higher closing ranks, suggesting relatively lower competition. The cutoff data indicates that candidates aiming for Computer Science and IT specializations require significantly higher JEE Main ranks compared to other branches.
According to MMMUT seat reservation policy, 90% of total B.Tech seats are allocated to home state candidates from Uttar Pradesh. The remaining 10% of seats are reserved for applicants from other states under the supernumerary quota. The following table shows the seat distribution for each B.Tech specialization:
