Undergraduate Programs and Admission 2026

MMMUT offers B.Tech programs in eight specializations. Admissions are based on JEE Main scores followed by merit-based counselling conducted by the university. The undergraduate admission process is conducted online through the official MMMUT admissions portal.

B.Tech Program Overview

B.Tech programs at MMMUT are offered in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Internet of Things, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Chemical Engineering. All B.Tech programs require candidates to have passed 10+2 with at least 55% aggregate marks and qualified JEE Main.

Seat Reservation Policy for B.Tech

According to MMMUT seat reservation policy, 90% of total B.Tech seats are reserved for home state candidates from Uttar Pradesh. The remaining 10% of seats are reserved for applicants from other states under the supernumerary quota. Candidates from other states must present a domicile certificate of their respective state during admission.

Counselling Process Details

The counselling process at MMMUT consists of 5 rounds: 3 rounds of online counselling, followed by an internal sliding round, and finally 1 offline spot round. Eligible candidates must register on the MMMUT admissions portal to participate. Students get the option to freeze or float their seats as per their willingness in each round.

Ques. What documents should candidates bring during the admission process at MMMUT?

Ans. Candidates must carry entrance exam scorecards for JEE Main, GATE, CAT, or CUET as applicable. Original and photocopied versions of 10+2 mark sheet, graduation certificate, and degree are required. Government-issued identification documents such as Aadhaar card, voter ID, or driving license must be presented. Ques. Are there any differences in the admission procedure for candidates from Uttar Pradesh and other states?

Ans. Candidates who do not receive their preferred specialization in the first round can participate in subsequent counselling rounds for upgradation. Ques. What is the NRI seat reservation policy at MMMUT?

Ans. MMMUT offers admission to international students and NRI candidates for both UG and PG programs. A total of 15% seats are reserved across UG and PG courses for foreign national students. Among these reserved seats, 5% is specifically allocated for students whose parents are employed in Gulf countries. Candidates must comply with the DASA (Direct Admission of Students Abroad) scheme guidelines and submit all required documentation.

Our Emerging College

What I Liked

Campus life ofcourse... Campus give u natural vides and natural beauty.Sunrise and sunset are awesome.And roads are like wow lot of trees on sides so during winter they look cool .We can play cricket , badminton, basketball, vollyball etc .and ofcourse their is cafeteria where we can enjoy alot.So campus life is wow and lovely
Faculty:- if u are good at acedamic faculty will help u alot . They are ground and everytime ready to help you .You can see them working hard for you .So , faculty are great except some.

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure compus is wide and large but they don't use it well . Hostel are old but now they are maintaining them .Even classroom are old but now they are making air conditioners classroom.so Thier is nothing so bad coz now they are working on it .
Sports and games:- they don't focus on that part much even they organise csa 2 times per semester.Still have old equipment and have only one ground.So ,they need to work on sports and extra curricular activities.

Remarks:

The college is near my home and is famous in our region.I think it is best college u will get in this purvanchal region.Its nirf ranking is under 60.Placement is good this year highest placement was 58 lakh. Yes ,they took admission on based on jee mains marks and ranking.their is portal of mmmut where u apply for admission and they give u round wise cuttoff.Their are 5 rounds .For CSE cut-off goes upto 65k except for sliding round and I don't have idea about other branches but for it about 90k . Just give jee main get rank within 1.5lakhs u can have one of available branch.

MMMUT a underrated college

What I Liked

College fees is very less compared to private
Academic stress is less. Copied are cheak in college only by the professor who teach so maintaining good relation with them help much

What I didn’t like

Placments support is poor and very less tech companies visit
Infrastructure need to be repaired all the buildings are very specially hostel

Remarks:

Only jee mains rank is needed . The college has a good ROI . The fees is less compared to any pvt college as well as placement is decent and addmission is strictly based on merit of jee mains . Board 55 percent is compulsory

What I Liked

i like the student-friendly nature of teachers and professors.
The campus facilities are good, like library has a good atmosphere for self study

What I didn’t like

Guest faculty handles the classes then the quality of study content reduces
Gate closing timings are not appropriate

Since MMMUT is a government university an NAAC grade A++ verified. It offers a good placement average of 7 LPA. admission process is so easy for this college. first of all I applied for councellin via my JEE mains score and an got a seat as ME branch then in sliding I got EE branch. there is no GD or PI for the admission .

What I Liked

College infrastructure is OK-OK and faculty is very supportive and educated.
Campus life is good and the sports facilities are also good.

What I didn’t like

Hostel condition is not so good,it requires renovation.
There are some restrictions for first year students.

Remarks:

MMMUT is a good option for B.Tech students .Its alumni network is very good and placement is continuously increasing very well.Students can take admission in MMMUT through JEE Main. CUTOFF for this university is around ninty percentile.

BBA from MMMUT an advantage or a disappointment???

What I Liked

What I like about MMMUT is the fact that it's the best college in the city of gorakhpur and provides many internships and job opportunities and the fest and events are also great.

What I didn’t like

What I dislike about this college is the crowd , not many people are from english mediums and speak english and some people are so dumb .

Remarks:

I choose this college because it is in my home city and it provides the best education in whole city compared to other colleges. I enrolled in this college by giving CUET exams , the process of enrollment was a bit complicated for me . And one of the main reason I choose this college because it has got IIRF rank 1 in whole state of UP for best BBA education and rank 19th in whole country.

What I Liked

I like for abig campus which exists in 340 acares
It has a big statidum which name is csa.

Remarks:

I got admission here through jee main exam. I got 90 percentile in my jee exam so I got this collage. I was interested in civil branch so I chose civil engineering branch in this collage .I did not face any problem.

What I Liked

CAMPUS LIFE IS SO GOOD OF MY COLLEGE.faculty is also good here
My college spreads in 354 acres. But most of the area are forest

Infrastructiure of hostel is not so good It needs renovation

According to my rank it is very good college and it is state govt college so it has its own advantages over private college.Cut off for the college is 70000-75000.75% criteria is very bad. I have get this college in spot round.

My College MMMUT

What I Liked

The campus is very large of 350 acre and lush green campus. Everything is available near the college
The faculties are well educated and teachers very well

What I didn’t like

The hostel room is very small compared to pg
There are many restriction in the hostel during 1st year

Remarks:

First of all the college have 84 nirf ranking in engineering. It have a very big campus of 350 acre. To get admission in Madan Mohan Malviya University of technology you have to register on Councelling of the college. The admission is done on the basis of rank of JEE exam
