The B.Tech application deadline closed on June 20, 2026, Round 2 provisional allotment was on June 26, 2026, and Round 3 provisional allotment was on July 2, 2026.
MMMUT offers 103 lateral entry seats for direct admission to the second year of B.Tech. These seats are equal to 10% of the first-year intake. Diploma holders and B.Sc graduates follow separate entry routes.
| Route | Eligibility | Entrance Exam |

Note: B.Sc candidates are considered for lateral entry only after all Diploma-holder seats have been filled. Diploma holders receive first priority in the lateral entry merit list.
MMMUT PG admission 2026 includes M.Tech, MBA, MCA, and M.Sc programmes. M.Tech admission considers GATE, CUET(PG), and MET as applicable, while MBA admission considers CMAT, CUET(PG), or MET. MCA admission is based on CUET(PG) only, and M.Sc admission is through CUET(PG) or MET.
M.Tech has 270 seats across 12 specialisations in 6 engineering disciplines. MBA has 75 seats, MCA has 60 seats, and M.Sc is offered in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.

Ques. Does UPTAC handle MMMUT B.Tech counselling?
Ans. No. MMMUT B.Tech counselling is separate from UPTAC. Candidates must use MMMUT's own counselling portal at mmmut.admissions.nic.in. UPTAC registration does not make a candidate eligible for MMMUT seats through that process.
Ques. How is the MMMUT CSE cutoff decided?
Ans. MMMUT does not release one fixed cutoff for CSE. Seat allotment depends on JEE Main 2026 rank, category, branch preference, and seat pool during counselling. CSE remains the most competitive branch and has 255 home-state seats.
Ques. What fee should B.Tech students expect at MMMUT?
Ans. The B.Tech tuition fee is INR 75,000 per semester. For a day scholar, the first-semester fee is INR 1,37,500 after including other charges. Students allotted under TFW receive a full waiver of the tuition component.
Ques. What is the B.Tech intake at MMMUT for 2026?
Ans. MMMUT has 1,035 first-year B.Tech seats in 8 branches. After adding TFW seats of 5% and Other State supernumerary seats of 10%, the effective intake becomes 1,189 seats. CSE has 292 total seats, followed by ECE with 207 total seats.
Ques. Are non-UP candidates eligible for MMMUT B.Tech?
Ans. Yes. MMMUT keeps 10% supernumerary seats for candidates from outside Uttar Pradesh. These seats are allotted using JEE Main 2026 merit, and UP domicile is not required for this pool. Candidates must apply separately through the MMMUT counselling portal.
Ques. Who can claim the Tuition Fee Waiver at MMMUT?
Ans. The TFW scheme applies to 5% supernumerary seats in each B.Tech branch. Candidates whose parents have annual income below INR 8 lakh can choose the TFW category during counselling and must submit the income certificate at admission. The full tuition fee is waived after allotment.
Ques. Which scores are accepted for MMMUT M.Tech admission?
Ans. GATE 2026 is given first priority for MMMUT M.Tech admission. If seats remain, CUET(PG) 2026 candidates are considered next, followed by MET 2026 candidates. GATE-qualified students admitted to M.Tech receive a monthly stipend as per AICTE norms.
Ques. Can a student get direct B.Tech admission at MMMUT?
Ans. No. MMMUT does not offer management quota or institutional quota admission. B.Tech seats are filled only through merit based on JEE Main 2026 scores and the MMMUT counselling process.
Ques. What support is offered to selected MMMUT PhD scholars?
Ans. Selected PhD scholars may receive the University Research Fellowship of INR 18,000 per month for 3 years. A Direct PhD route is also available for B.Tech candidates with 75% aggregate, but only under the URF category.
Ques. How much is the MMMUT PhD application fee?
Ans. The PhD application fee is INR 2,500 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates. SC, ST, and Female candidates pay the concessional fee of INR 1,250. Applications are submitted through mmmutadm.samarth.edu.in.
