MMMUT UG Admission 2026

MMMUT B.Tech admission 2026 is based only on JEE Main 2026 Paper 1 rank. MMMUT is not included in UPTAC, and candidates who register only for UPTAC are not considered under MMMUT B.Tech counselling. The university conducts its counselling separately at mmmut.admissions.nic.in on the NIC Samarth platform.

The university has 1,035 first-year B.Tech seats across 8 branches. With TFW and Other State supernumerary seats included, the total effective B.Tech intake is 1,189 seats. CSE has 255 first-year home-state seats and 292 total seats, while ECE has 180 home-state seats and 207 total seats.

MMMUT B.Tech Selection Criteria 2026

B.Tech selection is made through JEE Main 2026 rank within the relevant category and seat pool. No separate university-level test is conducted for regular B.Tech admission. The B.Tech application deadline closed on June 20, 2026, Round 2 provisional allotment was on June 26, 2026, and Round 3 provisional allotment was on July 2, 2026.

• Home-state seats form 90% of the intake and are available only to eligible UP domicile candidates.
• UP reservation on home-state seats is SC 21%, ST 2%, OBC 27%, and EWS 10%.
• Other-state seats are 10% supernumerary seats and are allotted through JEE Main merit to candidates from outside Uttar Pradesh.
• TFW seats are 5% supernumerary seats. The full tuition fee is waived after allotment, subject to an income certificate showing parental income below INR 8 lakh per year.
• Candidates must pay a non-refundable counselling registration fee of INR 2,500.
• Kashmiri Migrant seats are filled by PCM percentage in 10+2 instead of JEE Main rank.
• NRI admission is handled separately in May 2026. JEE Main is not required for NRI seats, and the fee is USD 7,000 per year.

MMMUT B.Tech Lateral Entry Admission 2026

MMMUT offers 103 lateral entry seats for direct admission to the second year of B.Tech. These seats are equal to 10% of the first-year intake. Diploma holders and B.Sc graduates follow separate entry routes.

Note: B.Sc candidates are considered for lateral entry only after all Diploma-holder seats have been filled. Diploma holders receive first priority in the lateral entry merit list.

How to Apply for B.Tech at MMMUT?

1. Qualify JEE Main 2026 Paper 1 and obtain a valid score or rank.
2. Open the MMMUT counselling portal at mmmut.admissions.nic.in.
3. Complete registration and pay the non-refundable counselling fee of INR 2,500.
4. Enter branch preferences in the desired order.
5. Check provisional allotment results as released during each counselling round.
6. Report to MMMUT for document verification and fee payment within the given deadline after allotment.
7. TFW candidates must submit a parental income certificate showing income below INR 8 lakh at reporting.
8. NRI quota applicants must contact the MMMUT admissions office separately because the process is handled offline in May 2026.

MMMUT PG Admission 2026

MMMUT PG admission 2026 includes M.Tech, MBA, MCA, and M.Sc programmes. M.Tech admission considers GATE, CUET(PG), and MET as applicable, while MBA admission considers CMAT, CUET(PG), or MET. MCA admission is based on CUET(PG) only, and M.Sc admission is through CUET(PG) or MET.

M.Tech has 270 seats across 12 specialisations in 6 engineering disciplines. MBA has 75 seats, MCA has 60 seats, and M.Sc is offered in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.

For M.Tech selection, GATE-qualified candidates are considered first. Seats that remain vacant are then offered to CUET(PG) 2026 candidates, followed by MET 2026 candidates. Counselling has 5 rounds: 3 online rounds, 1 internal sliding round, and 1 offline spot round. Round 2 provisional allotment was on June 26, 2026, and Round 3 provisional allotment was on July 2, 2026.

• GATE-qualified students admitted to MMMUT M.Tech receive a monthly stipend as per AICTE norms.
• The total M.Tech programme fee is INR 1,60,000 for 2 years.
• Each M.Tech specialisation has 22 to 23 seats.

MMMUT MBA, MCA and M.Sc Eligibility 2026

MMMUT MBA and MCA Selection Criteria 2026

MBA merit is prepared using CMAT 2026 or CUET(PG) 2026 scores, based on the score submitted by the candidate. MMMUT MBA does not include a group discussion or personal interview round. MCA selection uses only CUET(PG) 2026 scores. No university-level test is required for MBA or MCA when the applicable entrance score is submitted.

How to Apply for PG Courses at MMMUT?

1. Qualify GATE 2026 for M.Tech, or appear for CUET(PG) 2026 or MET 2026 where applicable.
2. For MBA, qualify CMAT 2026 or CUET(PG) 2026.
3. For MCA, qualify CUET(PG) 2026.
4. Register on mmmutadm.samarth.edu.in.
5. Fill the application form and upload all required documents.
6. Participate in MMMUT PG counselling and submit programme or specialisation choices.
7. Accept the provisional allotment within the given window.
8. Attend document verification and pay the fee to confirm admission.
9. If seats remain after Round 3, attend the offline spot round at the MMMUT campus.

MMMUT PhD Admission 2026

MMMUT PhD admission 2026 is conducted through MET-PhD-2026, the university's own entrance test. The test is held offline for 3 hours and carries 100 marks. Candidates who clear the written test are called for a personal interview. PhD is offered across 14 departments.

The July 2026 session application opened on April 20, 2026 and closed on May 30, 2026. Preliminary screening was held on June 7, 2026, the written test was held on June 25, 2026, and interviews were conducted on June 26, 2026.

MMMUT PhD Selection Criteria 2026

PhD selection is based on a composite score. MET-PhD-2026 written test carries 70% weightage and the interview carries 30% weightage. The written test has 50 MCQs from Research Methodology and 50 MCQs from the subject-specific paper. There is no negative marking.

• Application fee for General, OBC, and EWS candidates is INR 2,500.
• Application fee for SC, ST, and Female candidates is INR 1,250.

• Selected PhD scholars can receive the University Research Fellowship of INR 18,000 per month for 3 years.
• Direct PhD is available only under the URF category for B.Tech candidates with 75% aggregate.

2. Register and choose the relevant department and research area.
3. Pay the application fee of INR 2,500 for General/OBC/EWS or INR 1,250 for SC/ST/Female candidates.
4. Upload all required documents, including Master's degree certificate and mark sheets.
5. Appear for preliminary screening on June 7, 2026.
6. If shortlisted, appear for MET-PhD-2026, an offline test of 3 hours and 100 marks.
7. Attend the personal interview on June 26, 2026 if qualified.
8. The merit list is prepared using written test weightage of 70% and interview weightage of 30%.

MMMUT Scholarships 2026

MMMUT students may access university-level and state government scholarships. The TFW scheme supports eligible B.Tech students from economically weaker backgrounds, GATE-qualified M.Tech students receive a stipend as per AICTE norms, and selected PhD scholars may receive the University Research Fellowship.
