Actually university do gives an internship. That I think is known elp . And the students get to learn about various forestry techniques and technologies. And it also helps them in understanding their course

I have not yer opted for any internship from college. Internship programmes held frequently in college in last year of graduation and field programmes are also held in campus in different places of the state.

There are great chances of internship who want to pursue their future in research and there are also international trips for scholar students to study abroad and the expenses are beared by rhe university.

Placemets are their but not 100% as some students opt for the study in foreign countries on scholarships. For govt. Sector their is a 70% reservation for students to apply for exams .the exam is conducted by the HPPSC state govt. Which is a wriiten exam is we pass the students who have percued a degree in this is directly eligible for it.

The internship happens in the 4th year of college. The internship in case of forestry field happens under a DFO for months and also an industry for a month. In the case of horticulture, you work in an industry for a month and work in fields for the whole year for practical knowledge.

No placement has been made by the university in the near past. The placement cell of this university is dead which is the major drawback of the university. No placement and no future security are in the university and the administration Doesn’t do anything about the same.

Rarely there is any placement from this college. In recent years I haven't heard of any placement from this college. You can go for further studies to get jobs and all. Or one could prepare for exams after BSc and go for jobs.

Regular internship are not there but college ties up with different companies every year to provide skill training to the students. The cost of the training including traveling, stay, meal managed by College authority.
