  • For admission to PG and UG courses, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 45 %. and admission selection is determined solely by the university's prepared merit list.
  • MTA and MBA admissions will be based on the PGCET exam administered by the CPAC on the VTU campus in Belgaum.
  • All candidates applying for PG Diploma courses must hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • All Ph.D. courses require a PG degree in the relevant field with a minimum grade of 55 %. Ph.D. candidates who have passed GATE, NET, SLET, JRF, or are FIP/QIP fellows are exempt from the written examination.
  • In order to enroll in distance undergraduate courses at Karnatak University, candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized institution. Diploma holders with an English paper are also eligible to apply.
