B.Ed Admission

B.Ed admission follows UGC-DEB and RCI rules. General applicants and most subject-stream applicants need a bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate marks. B.Ed Special Education also needs a bachelor’s degree and must follow Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) norms. KSOU offers B.Ed as a 2-year ODL programme.

Ph.D. Admission

For Ph.D. admission, students need a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks. Selection is through the KSOU Research Entrance Test (RET) and an interview. Candidates with UGC or CSIR NET/JRF may get exemption from RET as per UGC rules.
