MGM College Review

What I Liked

Campus is really big with many amenities.
Faculty is very well qualified and moreover helping

What I didn’t like

Nothing is really bad at our college as it meets all the basic requirements
I will say the parking facility was not good before but now they have improved it

Placement Experience:

Excellent facilities with good faculty, above average placements and good infrastructure. We have 80-85% of placement and some students even might get placement before completing graduation. Recruiters also visit our college.

Remarks:

My college is very renowned academically and professionally too. It provides all the facilities from parking to canteen to hostel . Admission process is easy and you can register it via an online college website too. This makes the admission process smooth

The beauty of MGM COLLEGE OF NURSING

Course Curriculum Overview:

In bsc nursing course we have 2 term exam and 1 university exam in each semester semester contain 6 month term exam will give internal mark that is 25 and the university exam is out of 75 mark for the passing we need minimum 50 %

Remarks:

Yes for gating addmission in the mgm or any other colleges we need to write a exam that is MHCET Nursing and I choose mgm because of lot of practice and the knowledge they are providing which will help full for all the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to perceive degree in this course. Our faculty qualification is of PhD and best advisor also guide us very well. In intervals of 6 months there will be term exam and prior 1 month of term exams internal exams are held

I want to perceive degree in optometry so I choosed this college. My admission was done totally on interview basis. If you pass the interview than you will get admission in this college. The interview is held on 11th 12th basis where they ask simple questions

Medical clg with vast curriculum in navi mumbai

What I Liked

There are no complaints its really good i am thankful for my clg
They have added new buildings for other degrees as well

What I didn’t like

Away from khandeswar railway station so students who frm train give 20 rps per seat daily

Placement Experience:

All students in other categories have placement from high and known grps for medical students they to internship at the clg hospital itself mostly medical students dont go far anywhere just in campus hospital but ofter field as engineering and dental they go out for placements

Remarks:

Not much rounds for this course every section had 30 to 35 seats available there were 6 sections i got in by submitting documents and enquiry bsc didn’t have any cut off list i got in this course by my friends older sister she was doing cardiac assist

What I Liked

Campus, library, faculty, infrastructure, hospital.
College ground, skill lab, teachers, friends.

What I didn’t like

I don't like the teaching methods of teaching on PowerPoint presentation as we are not understanding that very much.
The college campus could be better and the college gym should be improved.

Placement Experience:

After completing MBBS there is 1 year internship and they pay 18 thousand per month. There are PG seats of various departments like medicine, surgery, OBGY, pediatrics, ophthalmology, ENT, and many more.

Remarks:

After i gave NEET Exam, after the results I wanted to choose a Good college with nice facilities and good patient flow. Also i have to choose a college which has no fees increments per year. And also near to my hometown. That's why I chose this college.

A day in the life of a student at MGM school of Physiotherapy

What I Liked

The infrastructure and the the faculties are good enough they are helpful but I’d rather say that getting into any medical college you have to constantly keep yourself motivated and focused. Apart from that college and campus life is very enjoyable and entertaining even on hard days

What I didn’t like

The amount of energy and time it consumes is what I don’t like about this college

Placement Experience:

At the end of final year we are encouraged to talk to various recruiters that help us either land a job or work full time at an hospital. The college itself gives you a lot of experience working on patients and learning clinical skills.

Remarks:

The hospital and the patient flow. We did have to write an entrance exam as well that was conducted in the college itself. The reputation of this college and the degree itself helped me choose this course. Physiotherapy as a field is very unexplored.

MGM SCHOOL OF PHYSIOTHERAPY good option after 12th

What I Liked

The college has really good hospital and patient flow
The college has good and peaceful campus with safety

What I didn’t like

Management can be annoying with work process as they take a lot of time finishing work
Some toilets are always leaking and dirty.

Placement Experience:

Its a medical college it doesn't give out placements but college does organise different type of seminars and lecture for career guidance, abroad studies and also educate about the opportunities available for young physiotherapists.

Remarks:

The college has multi-speciality hospital in the campus. Good patient flow with a lot of experience. College has a reputation in the country . Reviews were good. Campus is nice with good canteen facilities.

I choose this course because I want to treat the patient without medicine and treat them with physical therapy All the faculty are done their masters and very good at teaching In six months we have our university exams

We have mgmcet for addmission in physiotherapy on the basis of highest score the cut off and the list appears and on the basis of the marks the addmission happens We have same portion as for neet 11th and 12th cbse syllabus for exam

What I Liked

The campus is really big and good. We have a huge football ground and a basketball ground too.
The faculty is cooperative. The infrastructure is normal.

What I didn’t like

The physiotherapy college is just 2 floors.
They do not have all the equipments so we need to attend some lab sessions in Sampada branch.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculties have completed their masters. Some are pursuing PhD. They are good. I would rate the faculty a 7/10 compared to other nearby colleges mom's faculty is way better. We have 2 exams per semester. One midsem and one university or end sem.

Remarks:

We had to qualify a written test (MCQ based). The syllabus for the test was 11th and 12th state board syllabus. The cut off varies every year. The name of exam is MGMCET. You can register for the exam through their official website.

A life between college and hostel

What I Liked

Expose is given as my college has hospital of its own , with enough patients to treat and for in hand practice
Faculties focus on students understanding and provide them with enough practical classes

What I didn’t like

A lot of students in per batch ( 100 students)
2 university exams per year puts a lot of pressure on students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is vast but it is simplified by faculties and a lot of practice sessions. Curriculum is divided into 2 semesters per year which helps the students with better understanding but it also puts a lot of pressure in order to clear the university exams

Remarks:

Mgm is on one of the top 5 Navi Mumbai medical colleges. That’s why I applied here . My college provides best exposure in-terms of on hand practice and practical based learning . Facilities also helps a lot . Faculty here are professional doctors which helps us in a lot of terms
