LPU Jalandhar grants scholarships and tuition fee waivers to meritorious students, as well as students from underprivileged backgrounds, orphans, Persons with Disabilities, wards of Defence personnels, etc. Scholarships can be availed on more than 150+ undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma programmes, offered by the University.

LPU Jalandhar Admissions are conducted in multiple phases, with scholarship opportunities varying based on the phase in which a candidate applies or enrols. Phase I begins in January and runs until April, offering the highest scholarships. Phase II follows in May, with reduced scholarship amounts.

In the previous years, LPU Jalandhar has granted scholarship benefits up to INR 9.25 Lakhs, per student. In 2023, scholarships worth Rs 100+ crores have been granted, with INR 6.8 Lakhs scholarship benefits, per person.

The scholarship amount granted to students is based on the course they are enrolled in. Each program offers scholarships in 4 brackets, with a higher scholarship amount for top performers.

Scholarship are granted based on two criteria:

  • Criteria 1: After Diploma, 10+2, and Lateral Entry Programs
  • Criteria 2: After Graduation

LPUNEST or the Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test is conducted annually, by LPU Jalandhar Punjab. The exam and counselling, both, are conducted online. Based on the candidate’s performance, the university offers scholarships up to INR 6.8 Lakhs.

Scholarships based on National Level Entrance Exams -

LPU offers merit-based scholarships to students who demonstrate outstanding performance in national-level entrance exams such as CUET (PG), CAT, MAT, JEE (Main), NEET, and others. These scholarships are awarded according to defined score/percentile brackets, across various UG and PG programs of Engineering, Law, Management, etc. Eligible students can receive tuition fee waivers ranging from 20% to 70%, depending on the exam performance.

LPU JEE Mains/NATA Scholarships

LPU provides scholarships to students enrolling in B.Tech, B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture based on their JEE(Main) percentiles. Whereas for Integrated B.Plan–M.Plan, and B.Arch programs scholarships are granted on the basis of their performance in the JEE (Main) paper II or NATA examination.
