IIS University Admission Dates 2026

IIS University is taking admissions for the 2026-27 academic year on a rolling basis for most UG and PG courses. The PG admission process continues through October 2026.

IIS University Courses and Fees

IIS University has more than 80 programmes in fields such as arts, sciences, commerce, management, fine arts, physiotherapy, journalism, design, and vocational education. At the UG level, total fees start at INR 2.10 Lakhs for a 3-year BA and go up to INR 3.86 Lakhs for the 4-year BBA.

Some of the distinct courses at IISU are the integrated B.Sc + M.Sc in Nanoscience and Technology, BBA in Aviation, and UG programmes in Forensic Science, Data Analytics and AI, and Animation and Multimedia. Among women’s universities in Rajasthan, IISU offers a wide UG course range.

IIS University Admission Process

IIS University admits only female students because it is an all-women institution. For most UG and PG programmes, admission is based on merit and runs on a rolling basis. A central entrance test is not compulsory for these courses.

UG Programmes (BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, BBA, BPT, BFA, B.Voc)

For most UG courses, students need 10+2 or an equivalent qualification from a recognised board with at least 45% aggregate marks. For BPT, students must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in 10+2 and scored at least 50% in PCB subjects.

The UG admission process follows these steps:

• Fill out the online application through the IISU registration portal
• Wait for the merit list prepared from 10+2 board marks
• Attend campus counselling and complete document verification
• Pay the fee to confirm the seat

When two students have equal merit, early applicants get priority in seat allotment.

PG Programmes (MBA, MA, M.Sc, MCA, M.Com, MSW, MFA, MPT)

For PG admission, students must hold a relevant graduation degree with at least 50% marks. MBA is open to graduates from any stream. PG courses in sciences, arts, and commerce need a related UG subject background.

Selection for PG courses is based on graduation marks and is processed on a rolling basis. Admission is confirmed after document verification at the campus.

Ph.D. Programmes

For Ph.D. admission, IISU conducts the Research Entrance Test (RET) every year. Students need a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject with 55% marks. Those who have qualified UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, or SLET may be considered for direct admission without taking the RET.

IISU offers Ph.D. programmes in 25 disciplines across Sciences, Commerce, Management, Journalism, Fine Arts, Education, Social Work, and Physiotherapy.

IIS University Placements

IIS University reports placement results across its many course streams. The highest package is INR 38 LPA, and the average package range is INR 5 to 10 LPA. More than 2,000 companies have taken part in IISU placement drives over different placement seasons.

Placements differ from course to course. Management students from MBA and BBA usually get higher starting packages. Students from BA and B.Sc programmes enter fields such as education, media, fashion, government service, and research.

The placement cell at IISU organises campus recruitment drives during the year. Alumni work in banking, media, fashion retail, IT services, education, healthcare, and government administration.

IIS University Scholarships

IISU provides scholarships for academic merit, financial need, early admission, and special categories. Eligible students can get scholarship support up to 100% of tuition fees.

Scholarship eligibility is checked during admission. Students should submit the scholarship form with the admission application so that the benefit can apply from the first year.

IIS University Campus and Infrastructure

IIS University functions from four campuses in Jaipur. These include the main campus at Gurukul Marg, Mansarovar, and three satellite campuses at Mahaveer Marg, Sitapura, and Kshipra Path. All campuses have Wi-Fi. The Government of Rajasthan has also allotted 30 acres of land to IISU for future expansion.

The university has science laboratories, computer laboratories, fine arts studios, journalism labs, fashion and textile design workshops, physiotherapy clinical training facilities, and a central library. The International College for Girls (ICG), which has NAAC A+ accreditation, is located in the same main campus complex under the same institutional group.

IISU provides a Girls Hostel at the main campus. The hostel fee ranges from INR 1,30,500 to INR 1,35,500 per year and includes accommodation and mess charges. Other facilities include sports grounds, a student activity centre, and a Women’s Cell for support and grievance redressal.

IIS University vs Banasthali Vidyapith vs Manipal University Jaipur

Students looking for women’s education options in Rajasthan often compare IIS University with Banasthali Vidyapith. Manipal University Jaipur is another nearby private deemed university, but it is co-educational and has a stronger technical course focus. The comparison below covers major points students usually check before applying.

IIS University has the lowest fee range among the three and is the only all-women option located inside Jaipur city, which makes it suitable for day scholars. Banasthali Vidyapith has a higher NAAC grade and a longer history, but students have to move to its residential campus in Tonk. Manipal University Jaipur has stronger technical and professional programmes, but its fee range is much higher.
