Sikkim Manipal University PhD Admission 2026
The university runs its PhD programme in full-time and part-time formats. Research areas cover Engineering, Computer Applications, Management, Basic Science, Medicine and Humanities.

Sikkim Manipal University Application Process 2026
The university fills seats either through qualifying-examination merit or entrance scores. It also conducts the SMIT entrance test. Applications must be completed online through the university website by following these steps:
- Open the official Sikkim Manipal University website and select the Apply icon.
- Complete the registration form with your name, email address, phone number, programme and course.
- Enter an active phone number because the university sends an OTP to verify the registration.
- After verification, fill in the application form with personal information, parents' details, address, academic record and entrance-examination details.
- Pay the INR 1000 application fee and upload the required documents for checking.

The most important factor to choose SMU was because of the friendly faculty and it was recommended as the best college in Sikkim for further studies, which is true. The admission process was quite simple I had no complications during the admission process, and the faculty members were quite helpful during the admission time and guided me with the necessary steps. There was no interview conducted but there was an interactive session with the faculty members regarding my course.
