Tamil University is a State University acknowledged by Tamil Nadu Government on 15th September 1981 (Under Tamil Nadu University Act No. 9, 1982) with its structural base in Thanjavur. Ques: Who built Tamil University?

Ans: The decision for establishing the Tamil language university was put in the year 1925 by the educated scholars belonging to the Tamil Society. The idea took the physical form by the year 1981 under the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Dr. M.G Ramachandran.

Ques: How many photographs & photocopies of the documents are required to be submitted to the university?

Ans: Students are required to get 1 photocopy of the above-mentioned documents and with attestation by a government officer. The students are supposed to provide 3 passport size photographs

Ques: How can students apply for ICT Enabled programs?

Ans: Admission for the ICT Enabled programs can be done through the Online Application Form. Regular updates must be taken to check the status of current batches.   • 50% fees will get refunded if the candidate provides notice of withdrawal from the program in 30 Days or Less, but more than 15 days, after formal declaration last date of admission
  • 0% fees will get refunded if Student gives notice of withdrawing from the specified program More than 30 Days after formally declared last date of admission
