BBDU Lucknow Admission Dates 2026

BBDU has separate admission routes for different course groups. For the 2026-27 session, engineering and dental admissions are in the last counselling phase. Management, law, and BCA seats may remain open where seats are still available.

For most courses, students can also apply directly to BBDU if seats are available and they meet the minimum eligibility rules. Students who have not taken part in centralised counselling can use the direct application route where the course allows it.

BBDU Lucknow Courses and Fees

BBDU Lucknow offers more than 60 courses in engineering, management, law, dental sciences, pharmacy, agriculture, hospitality, applied sciences, and allied health. Fees are paid semester-wise. The table lists the main courses with their duration, eligibility, and total fee for the full course.

The two-year MBA is among the lower-fee options at BBDU, with the General MBA priced at INR 4,64,000. Higher-fee programmes include dental sciences, B.Arch, and new B.Tech specialisations such as Blockchain and Gen AI. The B.Sc Agriculture fee is INR 5,99,000, and it is one of the few self-financed agriculture degrees offered by a private university in Uttar Pradesh.

BBDU Lucknow Admission Process

BBDU Lucknow follows different admission methods for different disciplines. Professional courses such as B.Tech, BDS, B.Pharm, and B.Arch mainly use national or state-level entrance exams. Courses in management, law, humanities, and related areas may allow both entrance-based admission and direct admission through merit.

B.Tech

• Eligibility: Students must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% aggregate. PCM vocational stream students can also apply.
• Entrance exam: BBDU accepts JEE Main, CUET UG, or UP UPCET. Direct admission through 10+2 merit is possible for vacant seats after centralised counselling.
• Specialisation choice: Students may choose CSE, AI, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, or Generative AI. Diploma holders can apply for lateral entry into the second year.

BDS and Dental Sciences

• BDS eligibility: Applicants need 10+2 with PCB and at least 50% aggregate. NEET UG is compulsory as per DCI rules.
• BDS admission is handled through UP State Medical Counselling. After state rounds are over, private seats are filled through the DCI-regulated process.
• MDS admission: A NEET PG score is required. Seats in each specialisation are allotted as per NEET PG rank and choice filling.

Management Programmes

• MBA eligibility: Applicants must graduate from a UGC-recognised university with at least 50% aggregate. Final-year students can apply conditionally.
• Entrance exam: CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, or CUET PG scores are accepted. Students may also get direct admission through graduation merit.
• BBA eligibility: Students need 10+2 in any stream with at least 50%. Admission is through CUET UG or direct merit. Business Analytics, Marketing, and Logistics specialisations follow the same eligibility rule.
• BCA eligibility: BCA follows the same eligibility as BBA. For AI and Data Science and Cyber Security tracks, PCM or an equivalent background is preferred.

Law, Architecture, Hotel Management, and Other Programmes

For BALLB and BBALLB, students need 10+2 with at least 45% aggregate. CLAT, AILET, and LSAT scores are accepted, and direct merit admission is also available. B.Arch needs 10+2 with Mathematics, a valid NATA score, and a JEE Paper 2 score as per Council of Architecture norms. BHMCT requires 10+2 with 50% and accepts NCHMCT JEE or direct merit. B.Sc Agriculture needs 10+2 with PCB or PCM and 50% aggregate. B.Pharm admission is through NEET UG, UPCPAT, CUET UG, or direct merit for students with 10+2 PCB/PCM and 50%.

BBDU Lucknow Placements

BBDU Lucknow recorded 1,270 placed students in the 2026 placement season. A total of 265 companies took part, and the highest package was INR 12.25 LPA. Average salary figures differed by course group and performance band.

The 2026 salary spread included 2 students above INR 10 LPA, 122 students in the INR 8 to INR 10 LPA range, 404 students in the INR 5 to 8 LPA range, and 556 students in the INR 3 to 5 LPA range. B.Tech CSE and AI students made up the largest placed group. Amazon, TCS, Infosys, HCL, Wipro, Microsoft, and Deloitte were among the main recruiters. Engineering and management students mainly received technology, consulting, and BFSI roles, while dental and pharmacy students usually found hospital and pharmaceutical roles through direct applications.

BBDU Lucknow Rankings

BBDU Lucknow appears in the IIRF university ranking. The university takes part in NIRF, but it is not currently shown in the published NIRF ranked list for any category. Its NAAC B++ grade is an important quality accreditation for the university.

BBDU Lucknow Campus and Infrastructure

BBDU Lucknow has a 100+ acre campus in BBD City on Ayodhya Road, Lucknow, at a distance of 9 km from the Lucknow city centre.
