Diamond Harbour Women's University admission is granted to postgraduate courses such as M.A, M.Com, and M.Sc courses along with M.Phil and Ph.D. courses at the higher education level. Admission to all these courses is based on the scores secured in university’s entrance exam and merit list. 

  •  M.A., and M.Sc admission are granted to candidates who have passed graduation in the related subject with at least 45% marks. Admission to these courses will be based on merit in the qualifying examination.
  • However, to be eligible for M.Com admission candidates must have passed B. Com (Hons.) or BBA (Hons.) degree with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.
  • Ph.D. admissions are based on the candidate's score in RET followed by an interview. However, candidates who have qualified M.Phil / SLET/ UGC NET/ GATE exam are exempted from appearing in the entrance test but will have to appear in the interview with a research proposal of 1000 words. 
  • Admission to M.Phil. program is done on the basis of a written test conducted by the university along with performance in viva voice. 
  • The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to M.Phil and Ph.D. courses is candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the previous master’s degree program.
