What I Liked

The overall study and research environment created by students and faculties.
The campus life with college mates and the staff is really worth praising.

What I didn’t like

The campus is 20 kms away from Jammu city which makes it a bit difficult in terms of connectivity
The campus is around 20 years old and needs maintenance

Placement Experience:

Campus has an active placement cell which conducts Academia Industry collaboration and meetup every 6 months opening new doors of opportunities for the students to show their knowledge and talent and eventually getting placed in good companies.

Remarks:

I got admitted through ICAR AIEEA PG exam held every year. And there is also SKUAST CET exam conducted by the university itself. Admission is fully on the basis of marks scored in the written exam. One have to register for online counseling of ICAR and get allotted the college according to marks scored. There is also offline counseling round for state exam students.

What I Liked

College occupies large area.. beautifully maintained parks.

What I didn’t like

Some fans donot work properly. No canteen. No fests. Some rooms aren't properly ventilated

Placement Experience:

I never Heard of such a thing as placement at my university. Students prefer to do an MSc and then a PhD in their chosen subjects. You can appear for the GRF exam. Or other government exams other than these. They do offer dual degree program at Australian University

Remarks:

You have to appear for SKUAST-CET to get admission here. I scored 83.25 and got admission to an open seat. This is a good college if you want a bSc agriculture degree. There are other quotas also like NRI / self-finance/ sports quota.

What I Liked

nice sports complex with equipment present with an over the top auditorium
campus has nice green environment and beautiful aesthetics seen ablot people come just for nice and clean environment

What I didn’t like

lack of empathy from authority and administration
lack of support from authority in extracurricular activities

Placement Experience:

very few placements seen in the sector but a lot of potential in the private sector have seen a lot of my seniors struggle to get a govt job seen a few get them but most pursue a future either in master's or private sector

Remarks:

factors involved its good infrastructure and appealing course we faced an exam conducted by Skuast J but u can get admission via the ICAR examination as well cutoff doesn't go high may rounds of counseling occur high chance to get in
