SDSUV PhD Admissions

PhD applicants must hold a master’s degree with at least 55% marks. They must also have a valid UGC-NET, UGC-CSIR NET, JRF, SLET, GATE or Teacher Fellowship score.

The application fee is INR 2,050 for unreserved categories and INR 1,050 for reserved categories.

SDSUV Entrance Exam Pattern and Cutoff

SDSUV conducts its entrance examination offline. The main features of the test are:

  • Every question is multiple choice, with one correct answer among four options.
  • The test has these sections:
    • Arts/Commerce knowledge-testing questions: 30
    • Science knowledge-testing questions: 30
  • The paper contains 60 questions carrying a total of 120 marks.
  • The examination lasts 4 hours. The required cutoff scores are:
    • Arts/Commerce: 24 marks for general-category students and 16 marks for SC/ST students
    • Science: 48 marks for general-category students and 32 marks for SC/ST students

Online Application
