A College with everything

What I Liked

I say our college infrastructure is better than other colleges. It had AC too. Classroom infrastructure is also good. Projector facilities, labs also had.
College had cafeteria, play ground ,badminton court etc,. Our college had a nice garden area

What I didn’t like

Sometimes our college lift fails, everyone feels difficult to go to the classes .
Water problem . We faced water problem in the last year.

Placement Experience:

Our college had a society called placement cell where students get opportunity to explore into the world of interns. Our BCom students had great idea on internships. They conduct interaction programs with high qualified people who are into this field .

Internships Opportunities:

My friends got into the internship from our college, they are in good position in their life. They are stable to themselves in their life. They had 6 to 8 lakh package. They are now financially stable in their life. They can get into big position with their experiences of internship.

Deen Dayal Upadhyay College!!

What I Liked

The infrastructure is a 10 . With good labs and big classrooms.
The faculty is good and interactive. We need to maintain good attendance.
Sports facilities are good with archery being the best.
Campus is small in size but has plenty of space for everything.
The college canteen is top notch with affordable and delicious options.

What I didn’t like

Basketball court needs renovation and the gym needs equipment.
The campus has the sufficient facilities but is small in size.
The hostels are good but they are expensive.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about the placements since my course doesn't offer placements . But we have a placement cell that is very active and provides regular internships. Courses like Bcom and Cs have chances of placements .

Internships Opportunities:

I haven't opted for any internships till date but there are available options if someone is interested. There are many college groups with students from all over DU and they provide necessary information on internships.

DDUC- A Perfect Choice for You??

What I Liked

The infrastructure is very advanced and attractive as compared to other colleges. Centralised AC and Lifts add to the convenience of students.
The faculty of all the departments, especially Commerce and Management, are well known for their expertise and experience. All the professors are friendly and supportive in nature.

What I didn’t like

Campus life of this college is quite degraded, specially at the time of DUSU elections as it is not affiliated with DUSU. One cannot experience that kind of vibe of elections which can be seen in North and South Campus of DU.
The administration is very lazy in terms of meeting deadlines and punctuality. Any student cannot directly approach the Principal, first you have to explain your pov to atleast 4-5 people. If it is beyond their control, then only you can meet principal for any issue or inconvenience caused, making it a bad experience for students and their say in college's administration. If you want fast solution, you will have to approach Student Union, otherwise please don't expect the same.

Placement Experience:

The Placement opportunities at our college are quite lucrative. Companies like KPMG, EY, PWC, Deloitte, BCG, Tech Mahindra etc are and have been some of the prominent past recruiters. Being an off campus college, the highest package in Placement Season 2023-24 was Rs 23.5 LPA and average package being Rs 6.5 LPA, which is among the highest packages offered in other off campus colleges of DU. Had it been a campus college, one could definitely expect a higher package than this due to the fame and reputation of college.

Internships Opportunities:

I haven't opted, but I can answer this. The Placement Cell of DDUC is very active in terms of placement and internship collaborations with corporates and NPOs. It brings various internship opportunities for students throughout the year with maximum stipend of Rs 30000 in 2023-24. It hosts an annual Internship Fair for PAN India students wherein 150+ companies participate and offer internship opportunities to students.

The Truth of DDUC

What I Liked

College infrastructure is really appreciating
Campus life is awesome because of healthy environment

What I didn’t like

Some of the faculty members are awful .
Building is under construction and it keeps disturbing the students

Placement Experience:

It's a off campus college so it doesn't have much placement opportunities and internships but I would like to go abroad to pursue my masters so that's why I don't even care about to placement here.

DU, A worth it university

What I Liked

Firstly dduc is one of the best off campus college of du. i love the computer laboratory as of the latest computer configuration and internet facilities.
the infrastructure of college is very good all the classrooms come with air conditioning. the are lifts separated for teachers and student and have a nice canteen. i also love the faculty of the college

What I didn’t like

the area of the college where it is built is not so big
sports ground of the college is not so good

Placement Experience:

the placement and the job opportunities of the college is average with avg package of 4 -5 lakh . last year highest package was of 23 lakh. total 41 student get placed last year .the placement percentage of college is 50 - 60 %. few visited recruiters are Zomato, Accenture ,RSA CodeYoung PSA and many more.

Internships Opportunities:

NO, I have not opted for any internship till now. the college provide a good internship opportunities. last year students were offerd roles in domains such as human resource , data analytics, content writing , development and finance. the higest stipend was 20,000 INR.

DDUC: an underrated college

What I Liked

Infrastucture like lift, gym, sports complex
Faculty, teachers are really educational and friendly.

What I didn’t like

Fees is quite high compared to other du colleges.
Sports Ground like cricket facility and football ground is quite small.

Placement Experience:

Average package is around 7 lakhs per Annum. eligibility criteria is to get above 7 cgpa in exam mant companies like blnk it , ey and many others reputed organization visited as a recuritiers around 90% of students who participated in placement are placed.

Internships Opportunities:

Yes, in finance and college also provide internship in summer to college students for real world experience. College don"t give moc though if you want to do an internship you have to do it online or i summer break.

Life At Deen Dayal Upadhyay College off campus of DU

What I Liked

I like the air conditioners facility and wifi
The quality of teaching by professors is really nice

What I didn’t like

Sports facilities are not so good and staff is biased
College has political issues as DUSU is not present.

Placement Experience:

Placement is available from 3.5 LPA to 21LPA with placement rate of 90% For getting placements,a 7CGPA is required mandatorily. Fields available are finance,marketing ,operations,sales and accounting.Companies are DELL,TCS, Infosys, Prefered Square,RSM,etc

Internships Opportunities:

I opted for internship with ONIT as accounts executive through internship drive of college.We got a good practical knowledge and was very nice.This is a point however where the college is lacking and can improve it.

Zoology Student Life at Best DU Off Campus College.

What I Liked

General infrastructure is pretty good has compared to other Delhi University colleges and faculty members are helpful in nature and also friendly.
In contrast that the campus is small in size you can enjoy our campus life pretty nicely here and also hostel accommodations are present inside the college campus area.

What I didn’t like

I dislike the fact that it is of campus college of Delhi University.
And yeah the campus area is small classrooms are pretty good but yeah small and very strict discipline has to be maintained.

Placement Experience:

On Campus placement is only available for B.Com students. As for me I want to pursue for government exam preparation after my graduation or masters in my respective degree from any precious college for which I have to give entry level exams for MSc in any college of the country.

Is DDUC worth of your expectations??

What I Liked

Infrastructure: infrastructure is excellent . AC properly works . Washroom send classrooms are always clean . There is no tension of Safety , parking . In our college caretaker room is also available where you'll find all of your lost things .
Second most favourite thing is library . There is a very easy process of issuing the books . All books of each and every subjects are available. Book bank facilities also available . You can read magazines and newspapers there too .

What I didn’t like

Guest faculty : because some of the teachers have so much of attitude . And they're not kind and generous. They actually judge you on the basis of your clothes , etc . And they have zero knowledge of the subjects and are still teaching :)
I don't dislike canteen tho . But the price is over exaggerated in the quality of food is good but the taste is not that much worth the price . But each and every dish is available in the canteen .

Placement Experience:

There is a society of each department for placement and internship opportunity. They are active but I think as our college is in off campus , so it gets prejudice because of the location .. But location is very good.. I think this issue should be looked after by our HODs

Internships Opportunities:

So many companies provide the internship opportunities but I have not availed any of them . As a fresher I have join so many societies so it's not possible for me or for any other fresher to do internship at this time .. But as we talk to our seniors they gave us positive comments about internship process .

What I Liked

The most famous thing about our college is it's infrastructure as every single room in the whole college is air conditioned and we'll maintained.
The food in the canteen of our college is very good and they have so many varieties as compared to any other colleges.

What I didn’t like

The location of my college is the main reason for its setback. The moment you arrive at the metro station , there is a leakage of sewage and the roads are also not properly developed.
The group of this college is very small as compared to other college. You can't even play cricket on our group properly.

Placement Experience:

As I am a fresher , I also don't know much about the placements of the college but I know the average placement of the college is around 4-5 lakhs and if you have skills that make you stand out, then I think you'll surely get the placement. You should always do some course or skills side by side with your course as it makes your CV look good and even if you didn't get placement in the college ,your skill can give you major opportunities outside the college too.

Internships Opportunities:

The internship i did was not through the college but the placement cell of our college provides alot of opportunities and information about many internships not only for the members of the cell but for every student of the college. It helps you to do the internships and get an experience which will help you in the future.
