Doranda College, Ranchi, was founded in 1962 by a local philanthropist to provide holistic education to prepare its graduates for a rapidly changing world. The College, which became a constituent entity of Ranchi University in April 1977, is dedicated to creating a unique atmosphere in which the major faculties of Arts, Commerce, Science, and Vocational Courses of higher education can flourish.
