Non biased review on Kamla Nehru College.

What I Liked

Faculty is amazing, they understand your problem and situation and are really helpful in any situation.
Cultural and extracurricular exposure there are people from different regions of India and it is very fun and knowledgeable to interact with them. the networking opportunities is also incredible we get to learn so much it is fun and exciting

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure: There is no proper classroom, benches are broken and the washrooms are really dirty . the library while extensive could benefit from a more user friend system and updated resources.
There is no campus life and it just gets monotonous and its residential area as well. Even the pgs nearby are so expensive that at times students have to take pgs at far distance from college.

Placement Experience:

The eligibility criteria is one should score good cgpa and then they will be eligible to sit in the placement. The highest package offered is 12 LPA to economic hns student in 2024. There are various companies which have recruited students like Lenskart, Fnp,Zomato etc. the average pacakge is around 4-5 lakh and there is high chances of students getting off campus placement. I want to do CAT from top IIMS of India just after completion of my degree. I want to represent Kamla Nehru College at a high level maybe in World Trade Cemtre or something like that.

Internships Opportunities:

There are many internships provided by the college but I haven’t applied as of now. Ill be applying in the third 3rd year. Currently I am preparing for competitive exams which require time and efforts. I am part of NGOS but not paid one. If one has the dedication one can surely get good placement and internship from the college . There are internships from lenskart, Fnp and many more. If one is part of the society one will get to interact and learn more with the networkings.

Kamla nehru as a college- an honest review

What I Liked

I think i really like the campus life and by that the diversity u get to meet there is certainly something that WILL help you in life even ahead in future to cope up with fellows coming from different varied backgrounds
Secondly, being a girls college it definitely is a very safe space to be in. And feels very coordinating.

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure has to be the one certainly lacks in and has to address
Secondly, cleanliness in college is no less than finding a fortune of gem. You gotta have huge luck in finding a nice clean washroom (⁠T⁠T⁠)

Placement Experience:

The placements are pretty nice and average for a bachelor course ranging from a maximum of 3.5-4.5lac p/a which u can manage to score if you are well with your studies throughout and specially do well in the GD (group discussion) and interview sessions conducted in several rounds usually 2-3.

Internships Opportunities:

No, I haven't opted for any internships as of yet as my interest lies in something completely apart but yes THERE are good enough opportunities to secure one if one wants to as the college conducts its internship fair called Phoenix by the placement cell of the college once every annual.

An authentic review

What I Liked

The facutof the college is very dedicating and the library of the college is huge
The annual fest of the college is the most happening thing

What I didn’t like

The college campus is not too big and also the crowd of the college is quite low
There are no extra rooms in the free period especially during the summers no place to sit except for canteen and Library

Placement Experience:

Asci am from the arts background.i am not awared much about the placement or job or package that are given to the students.But there are placemt cell in the college who organize interview for internships fir the students

Internships Opportunities:

No I have not opted for any intership.Placement cell of the college organize the interview where companies like concentrix and other comes. But I have not participated in it as it not part of my field.

What I Liked

The college canteen and cafeterias is nice the food is affordable as well as quality is great.
College greenery, peace and calm environment.

What I didn’t like

The strictness regarding attendance as well as late classes
The college management is Messy as well as frustrating

Placement Experience:

Eligibility criteria in placement cell is to get 7 cgpi in your 3rd year . Companies like Nestle,EY, PWC , Lenskart visited for the recruitment offers the role of associate, marketing, consultant etc. Highest package was 23 lpa average is 5-7 lpa. I want to go into the marketing field. So I want the exposure in marketing.

Internships Opportunities:

Internship fair is organised additional placement cell always post about various internship opportunities. With stipend of 15000 in marketing, business development. Companies like lenskart, FNP, ngos offers variety of roles in marketing, sales , business development, finance.

Knc is definitely a prestigious college!

What I Liked

The college's Campus is so earthy and the bamboo rooms and all gives so good vibes, it makes us feel connected to the earth.
Facuty is So so so amazing and so knowledgeable people they are.

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure is not that good. Campus area is too small.
Campus life is not that engaging and people are not that vibrant.

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester you are eligible for placement and for internships you are eligible from 1st semester only. Companies such as accenture, deloitte, Ernst and young visit the campus for placements. More than 50 percent students get placements.

Internships Opportunities:

I am right now in 1st semester so i have not opted for any internship but will surely opt. There is a group for placements and internships which provide every information regarding the placements and internships.

What I Liked

Campus life is so good I make so much memories
Library and infra of college. It's so goood

What I didn’t like

Out side of college its south Delhi no doubt expensive location
No street food area there is only moolchand ka dhaba and for shopping sarojani

Placement Experience:

Well there is not so much placement but yaa after completing your graduation you can apply for private companies like news 18 or aaajtak any news channel or radio station and you can also go for photography

Internships Opportunities:

Well in my first year I started my. Intership and then I chnge my field too and for advertising there is lots of opportunities but for media I think there is not so much opportunity but still you have some options

KAMALA NEHRU COLLEGE at a GLANCE!!

What I Liked

I like the faculty and the canteen. The ground during winters is like a picnic spot.
The ground as a picnic sport serves warm during winters. Students sit and study, and have fun.

What I didn’t like

One of the things that I do not like about my college is the infrastructure. There are not enough chairs and seats that can accommodate our class strength that is 85 and we are also not divided into any sections that gets a bit suffocated in summers when we attend lectures together as a batch of 85.
Another thing would be the unavailability of rooms, a lot of times we have attended classes in grounds and the Chopal area. In extreme summers, it gets very uncomfortable, not having a Classroom, no fans or anything.

Placement Experience:

We have a good placement cell and I am myself a part of it, do most of the placement opportunities are for the BCom honours and BCom programme, but there are numerous internships that are available to every course our college is connected to various good companies like Astrotalk, Nestlé, schmooze, Accenture, Deloitte, EY.

A little review of KNC

What I Liked

I really love the library of my college. As it is very huge and well maintained.
And I also find our canteen and cafeteria very good affordable and hygienic.

What I didn’t like

The playground is small. So it's not suitable for playing sports like athletics, football etc.
The infrastructure could have been a little bigger.

Placement Experience:

I haven't tried to know about placements much. My goals for future is to go for civil services and serve the nation. Other than that I want to try my luck in corporate sector as well. I try to learn various skills based on recent innovations.

Internships Opportunities:

No, I haven't opted for any internships yet. But I'm looking forward to go some internships. My college provides a lot of internship opportunities. Various recruiters come to our college and pick the brighter students.

What I Liked

As I'm a fresher too, So I don't have much idea about the placement opportunities. But yeah campus selection happens in the college.. also we have a very nice placement cell. They provide many internship opportunities

There are many internship available. It's upto your skill and knowledge. Personally till now I didn't do any of them as I'm a fresher. But there are many opportunities and many companies that'll hire u as an intern

Knc college review

What I Liked

My most favourite thing from this college has to be the infrastructure specially it's Library because the library is filled with amazing works and it is so spaces that you just not want to leave and study and study more
One more thing that I love about this college is it's canteen it is very special it has one of the most amazing foods you could find in a canteen and it's on a very affordable price so absolutely great

What I didn’t like

I think one thing that I don't like about this college is how it is pretty small like the area is into big and and it's basically like the college starts and it ends like that no place he could really hang out in college and outside as well because it's a residential area
The second thing I don't like about this college is that the area near by is very expensive like its located in South Delhi that's why it's very expensive and being a college student it really misses of my budget

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is very active and their placements in our college as well and the nice once. All though the average package goes around 3.5 lakhs of 4.5 lakhs if you are doing a B.Ed degree but most of the people do get please and if you decide to ma course then you are likely to get a very higher pay done in comparison to a BA degree.

Internships Opportunities:

There are so many internships that have been offered by college like one of the internship that I am doing is in an NGO which is called Pehchan and in that NGO we have to basically teach students who are unprivileged and it is absolutely great of an experience
