Bharati Vidyapeeth- one of the best private colleges for BAMS

What I Liked

the faculty is strict but the teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable.
i feel like BAMS is neglected in a lot of colleges but here at bharati, we have a very strict curriculum that enables us to stand at par with MBBS students

What I didn’t like

leaves are very less. that is the main concern. being an out of state student, i get to visit my home very less (2x a year maximum for around 10-12 days each)
since u have to maintain 75%, u cant take a lot of leaves. all sick leaves are counted in the 25% as well so that is a problem.

Placement Experience:

we have a compulsory 1 year internship after the 4.5 year course. after which, we can pursue the PG course which requires AIPGET exam. or start our own practice which yields a lot of money. we can also apply to different hospitals. earning after degree is a tricky question, since doctors can earn anywhere from few lakhs to crores in an year. it depends on what u choose after the degree. i personally recommend the PG course since it is a necessity nowadays.

Internships Opportunities:

i have completed a research scholarship for SPARK (govt) through this college. we have a lot of opportunities to explore research or marketing side in this degree as well. my scholarship was a paid one.

All about BVDU college of ayurveda pune!

What I Liked

First of all I would say it has one of the best teaching faculty our there as one subject is taught by 5 different professors who have mastered all their concepts and had done many researches out there !
There are some good points and bad points about infrastructure here but let's see good ones first, this university has one of the biggest ayurveda Library where you can find nearly all ayurveda related books which is best part!

What I didn’t like

First of all there is only one lift here so many times we have to take stairs and as we talking about infrastructure it doesn't have ac so Summers will make you boil you blood ! Otherwise all classes are good !
There is very little campus life here as campus is extremely large but have many restrictions as just to walk in ground you will need principals permission !and students here are mostly in studies there is not even freshers party or any event except one gathering across whole year 😕!

Placement Experience:

So as I am pursuing a medical degree we don't get placement but an internship by college for 1 year after graduation as I told you Bharati Vidyapeeth has a great name in Pune so we can start an internship from 2nd year in any hospital and start practice! My plans after getting a degree are to pursue a master's in panchakarma! We can get 40k to 1 lakh packages after BAMS! Or we can also start our clinic or company!

Internships Opportunities:

No, I haven't taken any internship yet as I am just in my first year! But I will be starting it in the second year as soon as I get a basic understanding of my course and basic knowledge! College recommended doing it after the second year

No, However, there is a 1-year compulsory rotational internship that provides opportunities for patient handling and other practical aspects. I would personally prefer a business start-up after this course.
