Dcast pros and cons

What I Liked

College faculty is very supportive and well behaved, library is very good . Campus Life is overwhelming.
The surroundings of college is very peaceful and beautiful. There are also many cafeteria, general stores and medical stores so overall campus Life is very good and memorable.

What I didn’t like

There is very limitations on extra curriculum activities like sports facilities etc.
There is minimum chances of getting campus placement.

Placement Experience:

There is some limitations on campus placement, company comes and visit and often select the large no. Of students but also sometime there is no campus placement at all so you have to focus on placement outside the campus. I am preparing for ibps afo.

Internships Opportunities:

I have facilitated In a internship program which is organised by college itself. Agrijoy company related to hydroponic farming, I'm there as intern for 6 months, they also given 5000 stipend per month. College yearly provides internship program for last year college students.

What I Liked

The faculty members are connected with the students and polite.
The exams aren't soo tough it's easy to pass.

What I didn’t like

The timing of the examination iss too bad,there are no specific timing for exam.
The fine structure is very bad the fine of attendance iss soo high

Placement Experience:

There are no placement given by the College,just college give you the degree or nothing else. If you are needy placement please do not admission in this college,there are no availability of placement. But some time the college take some company which give you only 2 lakh package, but the campasing is not happening every year.

Internships Opportunities:

No internship is provided by the College,Some companies are came rarely but they didn't gave you sufficient money , The students are selected by the group discussion programme by any topic which is provided by the College

What I Liked

The fees structure is really affordable.
Washrooms and bathrooms are cleaned properly, the corridors and classrooms are clean

What I didn’t like

The College buildings can be improved .
The campus should be improved , they should do some work on campus.

Placement Experience:

You can have a good academic life here but I have no idea about the placements, but as per my knowledge placements are not that much. I have no idea about the average salary package and all this stuff. The college

Internships Opportunities:

The college I did not opt for any kind of internship. There is no internship programme in the college. Students can choose their internships from farms outside. Farms are there around the college, you can do internships there.

All about the life of DCAST, DEHRADUN

What I Liked

The liberty is very good for those student who are planning for govt job preparation. There is many book and journals and a good stock of news paper that help a student lot to prepare for any job.
The hostel is quite good and i love to stay here the hostel life is memorable due to the students and the quality of hostel

What I didn’t like

The campusing is not good.. College authority should think about that.
Faculty is good but we need more faculty. There are many subjects in our couse and college provide a wide range of course so college need to take some more faculties.

Placement Experience:

In simple statement. There is no as such placement. Some company come early but the package is not good enough. So maximum student going for other institutions for further studies and some are going for govt job preparation and all

Internships Opportunities:

In my B.sc Ag there is a intership is need to done for the last year(4year) But college tied up with other institutions those conduct the intership and RAWE that need for the course. There are 5-6 institute available there that tied up with our institute for that internship. And college promote govt sponsor online internship
