It's situated in Kangra Valley, Himachal Pradesh. It's a beautiful place to live in, admist the lust green valley and dhauladhar mountain ranges. The campus is overall peaceful, life at this campus keeps me close to nature.

The college organizes two fests, one which is intra college which happens in February named spectrum in which different colleges near the campus come for different events, and then there is inter college event named converge which happens in December and all 17 NIFT campuses participate in that event, there are specific clubs for sports, fashion, poetry, and acting which stay active throughout. Mess food is the best I have ever seen in any college canteen but there are no boy's hostel.

Social life is great, now there are only some Nift campuses which have boys hostel, mine doesn't, so we live in pgs and live outside the campus, girls on the other hand, are provided with hostel facilities, and we also have a mess which covers out 4-time meals, there are no clubs in Kangra as such, but we tend to find fun as it is located in Himachal it's quiet fun to study here, campus infrastructure is very beautiful, it's just a lot of walking but you have a gorgeous view of mountains, pg rates are also quite reasonable here and if one doesn't want to eat in the campus mess, have food/tiffin options outside. Talking about fest and events this college is filled with events, there is an inter-gift tournament named "Converge" which is an inter-gift sports, cultural and literary event, and then there is an event called "Spectrum" which is hosted by a gift campus and invites another college in their region, and it's also a sport, cultural and literary event and q fun

Campus life is very fun. Different clubs organise different things weekly you can never get bored in Nift Kangra. They celebrate every festival joyfully. We currently have 4 clubs which are Sekiro for sports, Munshi Lit Chand for literary, Ibtida for environment, and Aaroh for cultural people. Except for the club we also have freshers in Sept/October, Navratri celebration all 9 days, spectrum in Feb, and various other events. We also have a huge library where you can find almost every book needed for your course. There are 4 girls' hostels located inside the campus. There is no hostel for boys they need to find PG nearby which is easily available and affordable. The hostel has different rooms and different sharing initially you’ll either get a twin sharing or four sharing and then afterward you can shift according to your comfort.
