Remarks :
National Institute of Fashion Technology is a government Design college, with experienced design professionals as professors, Studying at NIFT you're exposed to a different kind of education which includes more of an outside learning environment that helps students find their design language, NIFT organizes a written admission test in February which includes a general knowledge test with design knowledge test, after clearing this test there is a personal interview which often happens online and is the final step after which ranks are allotted to students based on which they get the center. for the Preparation of the Entrance, I have used the Arihant guidebook.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I was changing fields from science to design and I needed a proper design college to educate me needed, The faculty are qualified till master level and the teaching method mostly consists of unconventional methods, exams happen every 6 months and they are pretty easy, fees are a little high compared to a normal government college, but there is a scholarship named Sarthak for students in need of financial help.
Campus Life :
The college organizes two fests, one which is intra college which happens in February named spectrum in which different colleges near the campus come for different events, and then there is inter college event named converge which happens in December and all 17 NIFT campuses participate in that event, there are specific clubs for sports, fashion, poetry, and acting which stay active throughout. Mess food is the best I have ever seen in any college canteen but there are no boy's hostel.

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs
