A review for a NIFT Campus, admist the mountains.
Remarks :
Yes, I faced a national level exam conducted by NIFT. I faced 2 types of exams, a general abtitute test and a creative abtitude test. Then, after this round of selection I had to appear for a craft based test at a NIFT centre.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Overall good experience, it's according to the national curriculum of NIFT across all campuses. There is experienced faculty appointed, specialised in whatever subjects they are teaching. It's more of a practical based degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
1,80,000 approx tuition fee per semester. Sarthak Scholarship for category students. Tuition fee not constant for all the 8 semesters but it changes for every semester. There are govt. Scholarships that give students the opportunity to even study in abroad.
Campus Life :
It's situated in Kangra Valley, Himachal Pradesh. It's a beautiful place to live in, admist the lust green valley and dhauladhar mountain ranges. The campus is overall peaceful, life at this campus keeps me close to nature.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is only for Girls, which costs around 50K yearly and 4500 per month for food, 4 times a day. Boys and Girls can also look for rented flat and pg options, situated near the college. It's overall a peaceful place to live in.

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs
