Stayed at the 16th block hostel, everything hostel related was very clean and well managed. The food at the mess was also pretty decent, could be better. The hostels are first cum first serve, so after the admission process they provide you with a link to pick your hostel room.
Manipal campus and social life is exactly how it's known for. There are a lot of ways to socialise and take part in a bunch of competitions. It's really easy to make friends here. With a lot of beaches near by.
Read Full ReviewNo I haven't opted for hostels but I've been there, the hostel room are spacious for a single person near aswell, there are people allocated for cleaning your room every week , the food at food court also is good you don't have to eat brick hard rotis , they're actually tasty
Social life is great for extroverted people, again very easy to approach anyone here, Lot of clubs available you can find people advertising their club at student plaza(A hangout spots) and food courts.
Read Full ReviewThe food quality and mess is pretty good serves good healthy quality food . All the registrations process for the hostel and affordability for the university is done through an online portal which is pretty convenient
This college offers many events which help the students to interact and get to know a lot about their field. There are many nice amenities for the students to use regarding this course Many clubs are also there which help the students to show out their true potential
Read Full ReviewThe campus is very green and clean, everyone practices cleanliness, and is very spacious. It has sports like swimming, basketball court and so much more. The institute also has various clubs that one could be a part of based on their likings and polish their skills. Apart from these, I opted for a hostel, and the best decision it was to ensure safety and cleanliness and help services available, the hostel fee was around 2lakh per annum with food. The food was good with changing menus every day.
Read Full ReviewThe hostel life was one the most memorable thing. Enjoyed every single bit. Food, the campus area everything was so good. We have alot of extra curricular activities like basketball, drama club, dance club, etc.
Read Full ReviewManipal is known for its social life. Manipal is a student town so it is like a bubble away from world, some sense that is great. Deetee is a known resto bar for anyone that has been to manipal knows Deetee and for clubs there is Edge and Ecstacy. There are more resto bars like dexters, froth on top, hakuna matata etc. But there is closing timing, Everything closes by 12pm, nothing is open except few cloud kitchens. And the beaches are the best like Hoode, Kapu, Malpe. And if you want more city vibe Manglore is an hour away. Not to mention a lot of holiday places are near by so group trips are easy. Hostels are decent, rooms are small but if its an AC room good Non AC can get little difficult and almost all hostels have a mess in them, MIC hostels are in MIT campus which is huge. And the campus has everything a student needs from gym, pool, shops, restaurants etc. Food in messes are decent not really great but not really bad either. You will meet all sorts of people for sure.
Read Full ReviewSocial life in Manipal or campus is a mixture of every kind. From nature lovers to party animals, everyone can find their interests and people. The hostels in Manipal are very good but the food isn’t very great. But it’s far better than other hostels and has ordering options from other places on the campus for you to order if needed with yummy food. The annual fests for Manipal are revels which is a mit fest but is one of the best with concerts and great events lined usually in Feb to March. You will find various clubs to explore and it is sure that you will find your tribe in one or more groups/ clubs.
Read Full ReviewThere are a lot of fests not only in MIC, but entire MAHE. The biggest events are Revels and Utsav which are week long and have events like fashion shows, music and dance competitions, video games face off, etc. not only between students but teachers of colleges as well. Books and journals in MIC library is limited. Amenities are limited as well. It's not the typical college classroom, it's more like a school. There is a sports day every year and inter college sports events keep happening, both male and female. There is a queer club as well. Hostel- bad food quality and menu of FC1. FC2 is good but you can't necessarily get that. Registration process is smooth, affordability is 1.2K pa. It is located near the college, in campus. Most students shift out after the first year because of the food.
