The placement cell at MIC wasn't that great. But still a lot of people did attend it and get a decent job. But most of the people I know have stuck to their craft and are working really well wherever they were placed.
The college was highly renouned for their Animation program. The faculty was somewhat supportive and resourceful. All doubts were answered within our outside class. The program didn't put a lot of stress on students which is a good thing.

Read Full ReviewI wanted to pursue higher studies (masters) hence I didn't sit for placements, but I heard from my friends that there were really good companies that come for placements with good packages and work culture. The overall placement is pretty good.
I joined MIC because I read really good reviews about the college and it turned out to be true. Since I was a COVID-19 batch student, we had our interview via calls and the criteria were good communication skills, confidence, knowledge about the subject, and also experience (if any). My overall experience was good at the college. The faculties are very knowledgeable in their field of study and are friendly, the environment is very calm and a good space to learn. I would highly recommend this course to someone interested in this field.
Read Full ReviewYes the college provides us campus placement. Well known companies also came for the placement like social panga, MSLS, Dentsu and etc. the package provided also was reasonable. The college also helped us with internship opportunities.
I liked the course they provided. The place also looked very nice to have a good college like experience. Many friends of mine also did their college at Manipal and I heard alot about Manipal and i wanted to be a part of this institution.
Read Full ReviewFaculties is Very well knowledgeable in their subjects and have a lot of contacts Exams are simple and quick there are some mandatory subjects that is a bit hard but doable Cost of study is a little high but if you know how to use all the resources then it is very help full They have TV Studios and Radio studious and can rent equipment with permission.
Manipal Institute of Communication has a very cute and calming campus. MIC has a lot of opportunities to learn different skills that one would need in the real world. This course has a wide range of Studies and practicals that are really helpful, and the professors all have great knowledge of their subjects so you can ask them for help and they'll be glad. And there are a lot of students fest that actually help you develop skills. One thing is that they have some delays in communicating important information, and they sometimes change the exam pattern and subjects without informing the students. With minute assignments and classes being cancelled at the last minute, which is typical of college.
Read Full ReviewCampus placement is great at MIC. Various companies with good packages come for placements like Social Panga, The PRActice, etc. With pre-placement talks and workshops conducted by the college too. The internships that are mandatory in the academic curriculum make it easy for us to get work too
Mic comes under the top 3 best media colleges in India and my career counselor suggested this college during my research of my own, I realized that this is the right college for my career and scope. The entrance was with a written test first which is MET and then followed by a personal interview round.
Read Full ReviewCampus placement is offered but ultimately you have to look for jobs yourself. Job profiles offered are mainstream and may not be what you're looking for. No eligibility criteria. Few visited recruiters are Dentsu, AdFactors. Av package 21.5L Pa. My plans after getting the degree is looking for a job in Digital marketing in Fashion.
The ranking was good, Course details were of my interest, Location was near the beach which I wanted Written test was of medium difficulty level and interview was one on one with a faculty member. The process was overall smooth.
