Since I have not yet completed my degree I am not eligible for internship and according to what I've heard from my seniors it is very good it is mandatory for everyone to complete 1 year internship in the hospital.

The college has a mandatory internship program for one year.. This is the time where you learn quite a lot more details about every department rather than what you read in your books.. Also this one year of training helps you gain courage to go out there and work as a doctor.. Every department gives you the opportunity to perform the basic acts that a doctor should know and you will have mostly one month of postings in most departments which will help you have very good experience in all those works.. To mention an example, you get enough opportunities in suturing during your surgery postings and you get to assist a lot of deliveries during your obg postings. Stipend of around 20000 rs is given to govt students whereas management students never used to get stipend back then.. Hopefully that has changed and everyone is getting equal stipend now.. But the experience you get as a junior doctor is worth more than the stipend..

Internship stipend of 30,000 is given to government seat students and not to private seat and management seat students yet but changes are taking place. Students are placed in specific departments for stipulated time

The college itself provides internships in 3 attached hospitals the bapuji hospital the cheaters hospital and the women and Child Hospital…one more hospital is there only for the eyes. The stipend is 33000 You have to complete duty for 365 days

In an internship of one year, students get to work in bapuji hospital and chigateri government hospital which is a district head hospital students get 30000 every month as a stipend. Internship gives great clinical experience and great alumni

Well because this is a medical college obviously you will have to do internship within the college hospital and associated hospitals. This is the best feature of the college. Even though it is a private college the attachment of the government hospital makes it unique in itself. It is a district hospital and the patient load is very high which will help you get exposed to lots of opportunities as well. If you will so interest you will learn lots of things and you will get to do lots of procedures as well.
