Placement Experience:

There's is no campus placement.. But when u graduate as a doctor you have numerous options and if you want to continue with a pg in India.. Opt for neet pg coaching.. And you have numeroys Instituess there in davanagere offering you the same..

Remarks:

The college is a very old college.. The most important reason was the history and the name the college has.. The accademics in the college is good.. And also the college has tied up with the govt hospital chigateri which is very close to the medical colleges and the students have the luxury of learning from both a govt and pvt hospital at the same time. The bad side to the college can the lack of a proper infrastructure and a proper campus.. But recently the infrastructure has been rebuilt and now that issue doesn't exist anymore.. Also to report there is no airport in the district..

Placement Experience:

Being in a medical college 1 year internship is guaranteed and the college will pay stipend which is around 20k. That too depends on the quota through which you have taken admission. The government quota are paid surely.

Remarks:

It's a very reputed college and it is affiliated to many 3 different hospitals so the exposure is massive, and everyone has to come through NEET and the cut off marks vary year to year . The only bad aspect is not having a proper campus, the college is just a bunch of buildings put together.

Placement Experience:

There are no such placements for medical students we either can join as a medical officer/residents/ or start preparing for the neet preparation, through which we can either get a seat in the same college or some other college.

Remarks:

This college was established a long time ago and since then has had a good reputation for its staff and academics, also it lies far from the main city like Bengaluru, so there are comparatively fewer distractions here. I got admitted here through the counseling procedure of KEA i.e. Karnataka examination authority.

Course Curriculum Overview:

After I decided to pursue MBBS the first college that was in my mind was JJMMC. We have qualified teaching faculty and lab technicians. They guide us through everything. Have learned a lot from their experiences. They never make me feel alien to the cause. All the facilities here are highly qualified and all MD doctors are well-knowledged personalities in their field. The exams are conducted by RGUHS University which is responsible for conducting MBBS exams all over Karnataka. The curriculum set by them is suitable for an MBBS graduate and gives us a peak into all the subjects in the right amount. The difficulty level is not too tough and you can clear the exams with good effort. The Karnataka government decides the fees of the college and it remains the same for all 5 and half years. 1.5 lakh for government seats and 10 lakh for private seats. The government also offers scholarships for MBBS Students. More information is available on their websites.

Remarks:

Firstly after clearing the NEET exam, you have to appear for KEA counselling by which the admission process continues. Based on the marks colleges are allotted. After I secured 576 I chose this college as I was from Davangere itself. This is a reputed institution started in 1975 and is one of the oldest medical colleges in Karnataka. They have excellent faculty with great experience. The patient exposure is ample with B and an affiliated CG government hospital. The only drawback is the poor campus life. The infrastructure is quite good but as the college is in the center of town there is less campus space. The college lacks a canteen which is needed. But there are quite good hotels around the college. There are no specific places in college for students to hang out. We have well-equipped labs and a good number of cadavers for dissection. One of the good colleges in central Karnataka. Well connected by road and rails. A good option to consider for pursuing an MBBS.

Remarks:

It’s a nice college. It is one of the oldest colleges in Karnataka. This is one of the only private medical colleges in Karnataka in which students are allowed to practice in government hospitals. This college is well known for its pediatrics department. The number of beds is also very high

Well it is a medical college so obviously the internship will be after your friends your 4.5 years of course. There will be one year of internship in which you will be posted in various departments in both the private hospital as well as the attached government hospital. After getting your MBBS degree it is your choice if you want to pursue MD or if you want to join any hospital.

Remarks:

The most important factor was the establishment of this college which was year 1965. Older the medical college better it is. Better faculty. Better hospital. Better everything. The 2nd most important aspect was its attachment to the district government hospital. There is a nearby government hospital which is attached to this college. So during your clinical postings you will get posted in that hospital and you will have huge exposure to patients. Third most important factor was the city in in which the college is located .This place is very quiet and peaceful as I like.
