I had a few things in my mind before choosing this college in the NEET counselling 1. It was one of the oldest and most famous government medical colleges 2. Academics and Faculty are strict and supportive 3. The only bad thing was it has a divided campus not a proper place to walk . 4. There are monkeys all around the campus

I had to go through neet to find a seat in this college. I scored 640 marks and rank 6439 in the 2022 year neet. To be very honest my college (Sarojini Naidu Medical College, Agra) is a decent college overall. The best points being the teaching faculty. Everything academic is well done by my college. However my college lacks a lot in the infrastructure department. I (as a second year MBBS student) still wasn’t able to get a hostel room and I have to live outside the college not by choice. The infrastructure is problematic as we don’t have an active playing field right now. We have an auditorium that is completely locked off at all times due to some reason. The academic building is also about to get decommissioned. With that being said I also want to add the fact that the college is going through a phase of rapid reconstruction which will help the college earn a great reputation in the future years.

The main factor for choosing this college is its ranking as it comes under the top colleges in Uttar Pradesh as it is one of the oldest medical colleges in India, I took admission to this college through the NEET exam which is the only exam in India for taking admission in medical college, and the college cutoff for OBC and general it is around 625 marks in neet 2022 that is around 10 k all India rank.
Read Full ReviewGood placement and job offers here. Many non pg or pre pg studnts can join in department for working or internship. If joined like non pg JR they will get the salary too. My plan after getting degree is to leave this place asap.
We have got admitted via NEET PG exam held in 2023. Good - for clinical branch and knowledge its good and heavy patient flow Bad - poor infrastructure, hostel, college, rooms and classed as it is very old. Many don't follow the rules of NMC for course schedule. Better to take other college instead of this. Except stipend nothing is good here. Didn't have hostel for all the students and its very old building. Here idk why pharmacist are working in Emg dept, post mortem house. They do like they are managing everything. Not a medical person here. Paperwork done by pharmacist and the clerks get promotion from cleaners place. Peopl join as a cleaner and they get promotion as computer clerk in a department working for attendance etc that too they won't work
