As the college lies in the heart of the city Trivandrum, many top companies and approaching with high placement packages. One of the main company is company under Tata and many more software companies. But approaching core companies are comparatively less. During year 2024, top recruiter was Tata Elxsi with a salary package of approximately 12 LPA.

Im in my second year of btech so no internships have been done yet. The internships done by our seniors are good. Even startups are made from the college by many students. Startup incubation clubs are here for that.

Internships were applied from our personal contacts rather than by college support. I had short internships with Keltron and KEL, through my classmate contacts. Both of them didn't give any stipend options. College didn't offer exposure to any stipend internships.

Campus placements are happening every year. Many of the top companies are coming. Percentage of students getting placements are also decent. My plans after getting degree is not fixed. If got a decent job, I will be very happy.

No i havent. But i will opt for internships. Many have came for nit calicut like colleges. But havent gone for any due to transportations issues and distances. From 4th sem onward planning to go for it. I have done a project for python.

College doesn't provide internships internally Students who wish to do internships should do the same off-campus. Some companies before recruiting a fresher as permanent employee, provides internships with stipend. Selection for the same is done through usual placement process.

Their are many intership oppurtunity provided by our college .As the college is situated in the middle if the city we get many intership from technopark . Some of the interships may be paid wheras some only provide certificates.

Even though job opportunities were less because of recession, core companies like Visteon BEL and Tata Elxsi had come for campus recruitment. Other companies that had approached for campus recruitment mostly were from software, finance, banking, edutech and marketing background.

I had done only online internships.But there are so many paid internships available.Its hard to find.We can also get internships through placements.They as interns offer up to 25000 per month after so companies assess them through test and based on the results their jobs will get decided atlast others not have such test they directly take them and give positions.
