Placement is average. Companies like Infosys, ZS Associate visit for placement drive. 60-65% students are placed form a batch. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest on campus is 48 LPA this year and off campus is 1.3 Cr. After degree I'll also be looking for placements and Jobs.
Factors were good ROI and campus life of this college. Though it wasn't according to my expectation but not that bad too. My experience is good in this college. Admission process of this college first fill up the form for IPU counselling pay the counselling fees 1500. Then rounds are done. If seat is allotted and you want to select it pay the seat acceptance fee and go to to the college when you are called for further documentation and left fees payment. Keep checking the website of the college.

No there are no group discussions or any interview but you have to give JEE mains exam .The criteria for admission at my time was minimum of 80 percentile. For cs branch it goes upto 95 percentile also.
Read Full ReviewThe placement was good at one point of time but because of recession now average package had dropped a lot it is around 6lpa right now but at one point it was around 8lpa. There are some big companies who come for more than 40lpa package but that only take 1 or 2 candidates maximum companies come for 5 lpa, 8 lap, and around that. Maximum students get placed maybe on lower packages like 3.5 lpa but maximum get at least somewhere.
You get selected on basis of jee mains rank. After appearing for jee mains rank you have to appear for ggsipu counseling and there will be multiple round for seat allocation around 3 normal round then 1 sliding round and 2 spot and 1 special spot round. Special spot round happens offline in main ipu campus, dwarka. There will be no GD or PI. The admission is purely on basis of your mains rank. The cutoff for C.S.E. goes around 50k for outside Delhi student and 80k for Delhi students but in spot round you have good chance to get a seat if you have higher rank also. In fact there is management quota also around 10% seats are reserved for management and you can get that by paying good amount of money price of that is not discolosed anywhere but for cse it must be around 15 lakhs.
Read Full ReviewPlacement is only good for CSE branch students. For core branches like ECE and EEE and ME are very bad sometimes none students got placement in core companies. For core branches like Electronics and communication engineering and Machanical Engineering and Electronic and Electrical engineering we have to find off campus.
I wanted to study in delhi and engineering too, so I gave JEE Main for doing engineering from the best colleges of india but due to some issues but I got maharaja agrasen institute of technology from GGSIPU counselling process.
Read Full ReviewThe faculty is very cooperative but some teachers are a bit rude, typical college faculty, BUT, the teachers apart from the rude ones are very kind, cooperative, available at all times for any kind of doubts. It’s honestly amazing!
I got to know about this college from my accounts tutor and i did some research, this is one of the best colleges when it comes to having a good crowd, good faculty and good infrastructure. When i first saw the photos of the college, i was kinda skeptical but once i got my allotment and visited the college, i fell in love with it. (p.s. this college has 4 canteens that are filled with amazing food. me and my group personally spends half our day chilling and munching there)
Read Full ReviewThe placement cell of the college is working very good. They provide offers to every student. Every year many company come in the campus for the placement and approx 95 percent student placed. College has its many partner (company) for the placement.
I choosed this college because it is affiliated by a government university that is GGSIPU. And everyone got admission here on the basis of its merit so crowd is very good here and seats are also limited. Also we can say that fees is very less compare to other private university or college.
Read Full ReviewPlacements and internship opportunities are average . An average package of 6-7 lpa is given to most of the students . Highest package is 55 lacs give by DE SHAW . Seniors keep on trying to get off-campus internships. If i wouldnt get a good package in on-campus placements , i would be preparing for off-campus placements side by side .
According to my jee mains rank , this was the best college i could get according to me as one of the main factor that attracted me towards this college is placements and coding culture . I got 94.8 percentile in jee mains and a rank of 80k . I got information technology in spot round in this college
Read Full ReviewThe highest package this year was 56 lakh even after the recession. But the average package of the college is 7-8 lakhs per annum. But if you want to crack a good package you need to work hard here because here the competition is very hight due to number of students. Also you can go for off campus placements for a good opportunity.
Actually , frankly speaking I did not studied well for my jee mains exam and thats why the only option i was left with was a private college and for sure it is the finest and the best private college for B-tech.
Read Full Reviewsince there was recession going on the number of companies that came to campus were pretty less than previous years. but the next batch of ours were recieving good opportunities so it feels the situation is improving.
The selection is based on merit that is your JEE rank. As far as I recall, there was no talks about any gdpi among my friends who got admission based on merit. I got through management qouta so i have no idea about such rounds.
Read Full ReviewAround 200-250 companies visit our college every year bringing exciting opportunities. The Average CTC offered to students of our college is Rs 8 Lakhs a year, which is even higher than some IITs or NITs. The highest on-campus offer was made by DE Shaw for 52 LPA this year. Also, some Japanese companies are coming to our college offering direct Jobs in Japan after Bachelors. 12 Seniors of mine got an offer to work in Japan at a whopping 3 Million JPY per year. More than 70% of the students are getting on-campus Job offers by the companies, which is nearly equivalent to IIT Delhi or IIT Bombay. I plan to do a job in Japan and I'm learning the Japanese Language to do that. Many students from our college also prepare for Off-Campus Job Interviews to get a better Package. Overall, our college is competing with top colleges in India in terms of placements.
This college is best for the Diploma (Polytechnic) students to complete their Bachelor's due to lower fees and very good opportunities (it offers). Regular students are admitted through the JEE Exam while Polytechnic Students (like me) are admitted on the basis of the CET exam (held every year by GGSIP University). The average cutoff for the CSE Branch ranges from 12,000 to 22,000 rank in the JEE Exam and the maximum cutoff goes up to 1.2 Lakh Rank in the JEE Exam. For Diploma students, the cutoff goes up to 250 rank in the CET Exam (for general category).
