There are internship available for both summer and winter. There a enough academic break to cover it up. Futher institute provide a contingency for the cost that is spent in the summer. Also a professional reference allows students to explore internship all over the world.

Internship can done every summer and winter and due to the college it's easy to get internship in any corner of the world. The cost during internship is compensated during college. College also encourages internship in the college of you won't get anywhere outside

Here you have two choices if you want to do intership either do it here or do it in any other college by taking recommendation from professors.All students are eligible for 20000 grant which they can use for buying things which are required to them while doing projects.

Masters Students of NISER are eligible to directly appear for interviews of Scientific Officer - C of BARC ( BHABHA ATOMIC RESEARCH CENTER) which one of the most eminent jobs in India. Besides that I have no idea about the placements undegrads get here . About PhD scholars most of them get PostDoc positions immediately after their terms . I am also planning to get a PostDoc .

Yeah, so fad I did two internships. One in NISER itself and the other in CSIR National Chemical Laboratory. I did an internship in computational chemistry which is my research field. NISER gave 20k per year for an internship as a contingency grande.

As currently new placement cell is there so there are no such big placement occur. But if u want to go for PhD then it will give you good platform to go further in studies as they have so much good alumni which are settled in abroad for PhD.
