Entrance exam for college is NEST. It is fairly easy compared to JEE mains and study is the same. Preparation for the exam alongwith JEE mains. First 200 student all over india will be called for admission process.

I have given nest exam. Nest exam offers a seat of 200(NISER) + 100(CEBS) all over the india. So exam is quite hard. Also 50% of seats are reserved for sc st obc pwd and jammu kashmir quota. My rank was around 400 AIR

The factors made me choose this college was to pursuing PhD in abroad country as it is a prestigious college. The good aspects of college is the campus,financial help,friendly seniors,and multiple opportunities The bad aspects are college is in outskirts so nothing is there outside campus,very hard curriculum,very bad food.

Remarks:
NISER is one of the best research institutes in India and is mostly known for its pioneer research in Physics as a physics student , I was overwhelmed when I got accepted here . Every Phd student has to qualify a National eligibility test(CSIR/UGC- NET, GATE, JEST, etc) to be eligible to appear for a written test followed by an interview in NISER. I had qualified GATE and JEST with AIR - 160 and 170 respectively . I consitently brushed my basics as the interview was mostly based on how strong your fundamentals are .

First of all this college is close to my house. Then NISER has better research facilities than other colleges. we have to appear NEST exam to be admitted to this college. I got a good rank in this exam so I got the seat.

Remarks:
It is the one of the most research oriented college of India ans and it provides the premium labs for the research. For this college you have to clear the college exam which is named as NEST. which occur in june every year. And it provides the students to flourish in the field of science as they have vast good facilities and good range of courses.
