Course curriculum are well teached to the student. Faculties are well qualified in the profession. Every month has continues assessment test will be conducted. Semester were conducted and some time very difficult question paper will come.
No, I got any admission process and I got seat from counseling. Good time be studied in the college and I choose this college for me to near to my house and the traveling time is less. I enjoyed my college life.
Read Full ReviewPlacement opportunities varied—most companies wanted at least an 8+ CGPA. A few product companies, like Zoho and Presidio, visited, though they hired only a few students. The top package was around 12 LPA, with an average around 3-4 LPA. About 60% got placed. With limited campus options, I got offer in an Cloud ERP based company with package of 4.5 LPA
College was chosen by Engineering councelling. Good Aspects: 1. Networking & Friends: Obviously, you've built a solid crew there, from college to office—so the connections and friendships were on point. 2. Learning Resources: The hands-on experience in labs or libraries, maybe some practical sessions? Engineering schools usually focus on that. 3. Faculty & Guidance: Some profs might've genuinely been helpful or showed real interest in guiding students. Bad Aspects: 1. Outdated Curriculum: Typical issue in engineering colleges—too much theory, not enough modern tech, especially in fast-moving fields like IT. 2. Limited Real-World Exposure: Could’ve been more internships, projects, or direct industry exposure. 3. Rigid Rules & Admin Hassles: Probably dealt with frustrating rules or unnecessary red tape; a lot of colleges have issues there.
Read Full ReviewGenerally velammal is famous only for placement and it provides more job opportunities. They provide us more guidance during our placement time. They give us more placement training before the company arrives. They give us specific training for some companies.
Velammal is good at campus placement that is the I have chosen it. But we don't have any cultural during our college days only we have intramural for a year also they will not congratulate the winners with any prizes. I have attended group discussion, technical discussion, HR interview.
Read Full ReviewEligibility criteria differs from company to company. But very basic requirement is 50 % marks and no current arrears or a maximum of 5 arrears. Companies that allowed having several arrears also visited and some students were hired with an aggreement of clearing all arrears within the end of tha academic year. Some recruiters are : Accenture, Tata Elxsi, Hinduja Tech, Wilson power, Ford, Karomi, Kaar technologies, Propel, Valeo, Johnson controls, Newgenesis, Zoho, Cognizant, Neeyamo, Movate, Mc Dermot, Bharat Electronics, Sify, IM gears, HFFC and even more. Highest package was 9lpa 80% students of my class are placed. I got an internship opportunity at Hinduja Tech.
Pros : Has a great library facility, good placement opportunities, has some experienced and super knowledgeable professors . Cons : No cultural or any festive celebrations, sports isn't a much concentrated field.
Read Full Reviewmostly all the students are eligible for placements , if you have a backlog they wont allow you for placement , many companies come for the placement drive from the end of third year , the average salary package will be 6 to 6.5 lakhs per annum .

Read Full ReviewI chose this course because I was interested in computer science and programming. The department faculty and their teaching methods were great and clear. They were very friendly,so that we can ask them as much question about the course without any hesitation.
College has good placements and friendly teacher.the department I got had great teachers and it als had a good environment.I didn't face any GD,interview or written test for admission as I got the admission through government quota.
Read Full ReviewStudents are trained in Quantitative aptitude and Communication skills from the first sem itself. During the 4th sem and after that, interview trainings are conducted to make sure the students get placed. Also, resume resume-building skills are taught in depth as well. Placements are conducted from the 6th semester which is in the 3rd year. Many of the companies that visit our college are service-based but there are some product-based companies like Zoho, Amazon, and IBM which have visited but the student intake is low. The offer count probably reaches 1k every year. The CSE department has around 90% placement record in recent years. I am planning to get placed via offline interviews rather than getting a low salary in campus placement. The eligibility criteria is around 7 CGPA for most companies but some companies may request candidates above 8 or even 9.
I would like to start by saying, this is not my dream college. I had to settle for this college because of my cutoff. In Tamil Nadu, engineering admission is mainly conducted by TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions). The course I joined is B.E Computer Science and Engineering. To Join this course, you will need a PCM(Physics, Maths, Chemistry) cutoff or around 180 if you are joining via TNEA counseling. If you are joining via management quota, you just need to have completed your 12th grade. For other courses the cutoff for joining varies greatly, for IT it would be around 175, and for other CS-related departments, the cutoffs are around 170. I would recommend joining this college via counseling and not management as there will be a huge donation fee for CSE especially. The admission process was well organized and every student was given a date and time to appear. The only thing that could be changed is, that they don't accept cash and only accept Demand Drafts.
