Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University (VBSPU) is a state university that was founded by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 1987. It was earlier called Purvanchal University. The INR 1,11,400 MBA is offered in Finance and Control, Human Resource Development, Agri-Business, Business Economics, e-Commerce and General MBA. B.Tech students may also choose Honours-level study in newer fields such as AI and Machine Learning, Data Science and the Internet of Things.

VBSPU Admission Process

Selection at VBSPU is based on the relevant entrance score or the marks earned in the qualifying examination. Depending on the course, applicants use PUCAT or a national examination such as JEE Main, CUET UG, CUET PG or GATE.

Law and Pharmacy Admission

PUCAT is required for BALLB (Hons.), along with at least 45% in 10+2 from any stream. B.Pharm applicants need 10+2 with PCB or PCM and may submit CUET UG or PUCAT scores. Admission to LLM uses PUCAT and requires an LLB degree with 55% marks.

UG Arts, Science and Commerce Admission

Admission to BA, B.Com, BCA, B.Sc and BBA can be based on 10+2 merit, CUET UG or PUCAT scores. Across most courses, the institutional fee charged to SC and ST students is INR 250 lower than the General category fee.
