K.C Das A Brief Description.

What I Liked

The college front yard is good where the teachers park their vehicles.
The college campus is small but lively as everyone us in touch with others.

What I didn’t like

The space in the college is very limited and many a times there are no parking spaces. The parking space is very less as compared to the students in the college.
The teachers are not much supportive and friendly as no one really helps during any need.

Placement Experience:

There are not much opportunities orr placement provided by the college. In very rare cases the students have hit placement but not much attractive. The college does offers internship and learning programs that are held in the conference hall of the college. The college is also very active is maintaining learning programs and career guidance programs.

Internships Opportunities:

Currently I have not opted for any internship programs as none are provided by the college till now. The college does promote career guidance and also guides the students who are in need of such guidance.

What I Liked

Cultural events organised for upliftment of student's talent.
Competitions held during college weeks, various categories and aldo intercollege competitons.

What I didn’t like

The college campus is little small then expectations
The college has bo auditorium of it's own

Placement Experience:

There are many seminars and placement programs held in college which brings many opportunities to students. There is also a Placement and guidance cell in the college. There are a lot of job opportunities offered through the cell.

Review on KC Das Commerce College, Guwahati

What I Liked

The faculty is the best thing about this college. All well spoken, helpful and well educated faculty.
The campus is also quite fun to hang around even though its small. Its filled with greenery.

What I didn’t like

The campus is very small for the amount of students that are there in the college.
Irregularity of classes is also one thing i didn't like quite much.

Placement Experience:

Placement is available in the college. However, I didn't go when companies came for recruitment. So I don't have any idea about what companies offer job opportunities and internships and how many packages they offer.

Internships Opportunities:

No, I did not opt for any internship or placement. I did my internship in my hometown without any connections from the college and I did not receive any stipend for it. However, paid internships are available.

My college review.

What I Liked

The seniors are very helpful. The faculty is also very helpful.
The campus life here is very interesting as we get to interact with different peoples.

What I didn’t like

The campus is a bit small other than that i like everything about the college.
Campus life here is little hectic the space here is little less but a very reputed college in terms of education.

Placement Experience:

Many companies come to our college to give placement opportunities to the students who opt for jobs. WhatsApp is very active in terms of these things. Placement cell helps the students to choose their careers. Career counseling also takes place in the college.

Internships Opportunities:

I haven't opted for any internship till now but many of our students have got jobs in different parts of India. Our college has a special cell known as the placement cell which finds the students a good job according to their willingness.

A Thought of My Own on My College

What I Liked

The college infrastructure is good. It has big classrooms, every classroom has 6-8 fans and a digital projectors. The faculty members are also very helpful towards every student. They help you with any topic that you have problem with at any time after class or in class.

What I didn’t like

I don't like the washrooms of the college as it stays a little dirty all the time and sometimes it was water issues also . Also there is no treatment facility in the college and there is no sick room. Also the college has no rooms where girls can get sanitary napkins when ever necessary.

Placement Experience:

In our college there is a placement cell which is responsible for informing about all the job opportunities available in our area. But it doesn't have any such placement or internship or job opportunities in itself.

The college review.

What I Liked

College infrastructure is good. Class rooms are neat and clean.
Campus life is also okay as our college is surrounded with plants and trees it gives us refreshing feel too.

What I didn’t like

Washrooms are about dirty. They could keep it more clean.
Few faculty members are really rude towards the students.

Placement Experience:

I don't know about placement. It is not yet discussed in the college. But we have a placement cell where there are teachers who would guide students who would tell us what are the job opportunities. After degree i have a plan for doing MBA.

Internships Opportunities:

Not yet. I have not opted for any internship yet as there has been no information about interships in our college yet. I am in 2nd semester so there has been no information about interships.Maybe interships are discussed from 3rd semester..

Things to know about kc das commerce college

What I Liked

-Faculty members are very supportive and actually helps u for achieving what you want
The extra certificate course provided by the college to ensure our job safety in future

What I didn’t like

The campus is small and have no scope of sports development
The methods of teaching is quiet old fashioned

Placement Experience:

-Many different company from the banking and finance sectors visit the college campus for recruitment - the highest package that was given to a student as placement was 20lpa which was offered by an MNC

Internships Opportunities:

-I have opted for multiple internships And the college placement cell actually helped me in many different ways to find internships for me - the internship which I was doing gave me a stipend of 2000 rupees
