K.C. Das Commerce College has been a overall good college as per education and facilities, cctvs in every class rooms, projectors , conference halls, computer lab, library, online courses, digital learning portal, etc. There is a cutt off percentage for selection and I didn't face any problem while taking admission or getting into the college. Everyone was friendly and active. There is no such thing as interviews or written tests it's completely based on your 12th percentage and there are benifits for reserved category. The only bad aspect is the campus is a little small then expectations.
According to the course the difficulty level of the exams are perfectly good as much it should be. I chose this course because I was curious to know more about it and wanted to learn and develop in that field. The qualification of faculty members are impressive. Almost every teacher has completed their PhD and some of them also has written there own books. Teachings are good and informative which can easily catch the attention of students focus on the topics.
There are many seminars and placement programs held in college which brings many opportunities to students. There is also a Placement and guidance cell in the college. There are a lot of job opportunities offered through the cell.
There is different fees structure for 1st and 2nd year you have to pay 5369 and 4060 in the last year, there are many scholarship available also there are may opportunities offered by the college. Reservation quota are also present if it is caste or sports, pwd, etc. There is a merit based selection according to percentage and late admissions are also available according to remaining seats. There is also fee facilities available for BPL category.
There are a lot of functions and programs held in college which allows every students to come forward and take part in all the events. There is college week for sports events and talents shows. Different events to take part continuous programs to work in. There are many social groups and clubs run by students like NSS, Eco club, etc
There is no hostel facility provided by the college. But there are many pg and hostels outside the campus near to college and in the same area with the college. Also there are many rooms and rents available according to the student's preference.
Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .
While the college does not guarantee 100% corporate placement, it facilitates campus interviews and internships. Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and Tata have rec recruited or offered internships to a percentage of students.
There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My plans after my degree is to get a job in electronic domain while also focusing on my photography and editing Passion Check my work on insta sodaa.edits
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.
There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA
The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low. That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled. And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.
I forever had a dream of starting a business by myself as I come from a business background I also wanted to help my father in his work , I wanted to grow my father's business by just putting technical efforts so this is the reason I chooses commerce Teachers are of very friendly nature and helpful If you attend regular college you won't face any difficulties in exams
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.
You must get more than 7 CGPA to sit in the placement. TCS, L&T, Jacobs etc and the highest package is around 21 LPA around 15% are placed every year.Iwill be doing PHd in IIT after getting my degree.
I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
