- The seniors are very helpful. The faculty is also very helpful.
- The campus life here is very interesting as we get to interact with different peoples.
Dislikes
- The campus is a bit small other than that i like everything about the college.
- Campus life here is little hectic the space here is little less but a very reputed college in terms of education.
Remarks :
Kc Das Commerce College is a very reputed college in the entire northeast. It is one of the best commerce colleges in the northeast. People who are opting for a bachelor's degree in commerce are most welcome here. The faculty is very good and helpful. The admission process is based on a merit system. One must score good marks in their HS exam to get admission to this reputed college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because it will help me in the future I am thinking of doing some sort of business-related work so this course was the best to master my skills. The faculty is very helpful and good. The classes here are regular, the teachers attend their classes on time and the way of teaching is the best here. The term exams were on according to Guwahati University and the difficulty level was moderate. The fees at KC Das Commerce College are very affordable.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted for any internship till now but many of our students have got jobs in different parts of India. Our college has a special cell known as the placement cell which finds the students a good job according to their willingness.
Placement Experience :
Many companies come to our college to give placement opportunities to the students who opt for jobs. WhatsApp is very active in terms of these things. Placement cell helps the students to choose their careers. Career counseling also takes place in the college.
Campus Life :
The business fest is conducted in May month every year where the students showcase their business skills There are all kinds of books in the library, the students can visit any time in the library and find books of their choice. Sports week is conducted every year in the college. And our gym secretary conducts many extracurricular activities on the campus. Bodo Literary Society, RSS, AVBP many groups and clubs are there in the college which help the students to solve their problems.

Dream Campus, Not-So-Dream Jobs

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My plans after my degree is to get a job in electronic domain while also focusing on my photography and editing Passion Check my work on insta sodaa.edits
My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.

I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
