CEED 2027 Exam Cities: State-Wise List

Chandigarh/Mohali is one combined city choice in the list. Goa is listed as Goa; a specific venue is assigned on the admit card.

How CEED Exam Centres Are Allotted

Select three cities in order of preference during online registration. The first choice is a preference, not a guaranteed allotment. A city with too few applicants may be dropped, with candidates moved to their second or third choice.

The organising committee may add or remove cities and allot a centre outside the three selected choices. Requests to change the city after the registration form is submitted, or to change the allotted centre, are not accepted.

The city list identifies the available locations, not a fixed list of test-building addresses. The admit card gives the assigned centre.

Admit Card and Allotted Venue

Admit cards will be available from 1 January 2027 at 1 pm. Download yours through the CEED candidate portal and use its venue details for the examination.

Report discrepancies by 8 January 2027 at 5 pm. A correction to personal information on the card is different from a city-change request, which is not permitted.

Bring a clear printed admit card. A photograph or digital copy on a phone cannot replace the required printout, and phones are prohibited in the examination hall.

CEED Reporting Time and Exam Schedule

Report from 7 am on Sunday, 17 January 2027. Pre-exam verification includes a thumb impression and photograph. Entry after 9 am is not allowed.

The centre displays the seating arrangement. Part-A responses are entered on the computer, while Part-B answers are written or drawn in the supplied booklet. Complete each part within its allotted time.

Documents and Drawing Materials to Carry

Carry the printed admit card and one valid original photo ID. The accepted identity documents are:

• College-issued identity card
• Passport
• Driving licence
• PAN card
• Voter ID
• Aadhaar card
• Printout of e-Aadhaar card

The centre does not supply drawing stationery, and candidates cannot exchange materials during the test. Watercolours are not allowed even though other colouring materials are permitted.

One scribble pad is supplied for rough work. Write your name and CEED roll number, sign it and have it countersigned by the invigilator. Return it at the end; no extra scribble pad is issued.

Scribe Assistance and Compensatory Time

Candidates who need scribe assistance or compensatory time must request it during registration and upload the relevant disability documents and prescribed request form. The CEED office assesses the request and provides further instructions when needed.

Eligible candidates choose from a centre-provided scribe panel, typically a day before the exam. You cannot bring your own scribe. Assistance is available for Part A only; Part B must be attempted independently.

Approved compensatory time is 20 minutes per hour. For the standard one-hour Part A and two-hour Part B, that corresponds to 20 and 40 additional minutes respectively. This is an accommodation for approved candidates, not the standard examination timetable.
