CEED 2024 Answer Key for Part A is released on February 1, 2024. The final answer key is available on the official website – ceed.iitb.ac.in for download. You can use the CEED 2024 Final Answer Key for Part A to predict your CEED Result.

CEED 2024 Draft Answer Key was released on January 23, 2024. You could challenge the draft answer key till January 25, 2024 (5 pm) through the candidate portal. The Final CEED Answer Key is released after considering the objections. CEED Result 2024 is based on the answers released in the final answer key. 

IIT Bombay conducted CEED 2024 on January 21, 2024. CEED 2024 Result release date is March 6, 2024. You need to log in with your application ID and password to download the CEED scorecard from March 11, 2024.

CEED 2024 Answer Key Procedure to download

Below are the required steps to download the CEED 2024 answer key:

• Visit the CEED official website (ceed.iitb.ac.in).
• Click the link for CEED 2024 Draft Answer Key Part-A on the homepage.
• Click the link to open the answer key.
• CEED Part-A answer key will be displayed on the screen and will be available in PDF format.
• Candidates can download the answer key for future reference.

CEED 2024 Dropped Questions Session

During the time of evaluation of answers for CEED 2024, there might be instances where certain questions are considered for dropping.

• Dropped questions are those that are identified as ambiguous, misleading, or with multiple interpretations.
• In such a scenario, the examining authority looks after the questions and if necessary excludes them from the evaluation process.
• Thus the final scores of candidates are calculated based on the remaining questions that aren’t dropped.

CEED 2024 Answer Key Procedure to challenge

Below are the required steps to challenge the CEED 2024 answer key:

• Visit the CEED official website (ceed.iitb.ac.in).
• Candidates must sign in to the candidate portal in order to comment on the draft CEED answer key.
• Candidates should proceed to click on the option ‘Enter your comment on responses’.
• Candidates must select the appropriate question number from the drop-down box and provide feedback.
• Candidates are required to offer sufficient evidence to support their challenge and explain why the provided draft answer key is incorrect at the time of raising an objection.
• In addition, candidates may email their feedback. For this, candidates have to save the file to the drive account before sending it and then input the link to the file in the space provided.
• Based on the challenges, explanations, and feedback of the candidates, the examination cell will make a final decision and release the final answer key of CEED 2024.

CEED 2024 Answer Key Procedure to Calculate Score

The procedure to calculate the score using the CEED 2024 answer key is given below:

• Candidates must match their responses in Part A with the correct answers provided in the CEED 2024 answer key.
• Candidates must assign the relevant mark for each correct attempt based on the CEED 2024 marking scheme.
• Candidates must apply negative markings for each incorrect response based on the CEED 2024 exam's specified fraction.
• It is to be noted that Part B is evaluated separately and carries more weightage in the overall score (75% weightage compared to 25% for Part A).
• The overall score is evaluated based on the following formula- Overall Score = (0.25 * Part A Score) + (0.75 * Part B Score).

CEED 2024 Answer Key Marking Scheme

The marking scheme of Part-A for CEED 2024 is as follows:

• For Section I, 3 marks will be awarded for each correct attempt.
• For Section II, 2 marks will be awarded for each correct attempt.
• For Section III, 2 marks will be awarded for each correct attempt while 0.6 marks will be deducted for each incorrect response.
