TNEA 2024 International Tournament Policy

The system for international-level competitions for TNEA 2024 is divided into two categories, which are shown below.

• Category 1: Games held every four years, such as the Olympics, World Cup / Commonwealth Games, and Asian Games.
• Category 2: Games in which at least 6 nations participate. The Indian Olympics Association (IOA), Sports Authority of India (SAI), and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS) of the Government of India all recognize the sport.

1. The applicant may assert such involvement only if he or she will also compete in a state or national-level competition. Direct international sports participation will not be accepted.
2. Only one tournament will consider the top achievement. The event must be held on a regular basis by a National Olympic Committee (NOC) accredited by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) / International Sports Federations associated with the IOC in order for marks to be awarded. Under the quota, applicants who have served the nation or will represent the nation will be granted marks each year.

TNEA 2024 National Tournament Policy

• Candidates who have recently participated in trial or coaching camps are not eligible for this quota.

TNEA 2024 State Tournament Policy

TNEA 2024 has specified the following policy for state-level tournaments:

• The applicant must have competed in a competition that is deemed to be at the state level. The competition must be approved by the State Association / SAI / SDAT.

• KVS (Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools) and CBSE students are eligible for the state sports quota. The nativity and education must have taken place in Tamil Nadu.
