ETS TOEFL Scholarships

ETS the conducting body offers various TOEFL scholarships for aspiring students to study abroad. TOEFL scholarship program is available for Foreign or second language research, teaching or assessment, and International higher education. TOEFL Grants

TOEFL Young Students Series (YSS) Research Grants

TOEFL YSS Research Grants provided support for research-related programs. Up to US$10,000 is awarded to support aspiring students to support their projects. YSS ETS TOEFL scholarships are provided to students aged between 8 and 16. Priorities are given based on the student's proposals and the topics identified in the research agenda. The next round of YSS ETS TOEFL scholarship applications will open in the spring of 2024.

Candidates can also apply for the Jacqueline Ross TOEFL Dissertation Award, which offers US$ 2,500. TOEFL Scholarship Board offers two awards by nomination every year. The Samuel J. Messick Memorial Lecture Award is given to those who have made valuable contributions to improving foreign language testing practices. TOEFL New Scholar Award recognizes new professionals who show promise in furthering the field of language assessment. Nominees should have earned their doctorate within the past seven years.

TOEFL Award for International Participation at TESOL

To provide support and to increase international participation at the annual International TESOL Convention, TOEFL board presents Awards for International Participation at TESOL. Aspirants are awarded US$ 2,500 to attend and present at TESOL, and up to four grants are awarded. Aspirants must remember that TESOL members who currently live in USA or Canada are not eligible for this award.

UK-India TOEFL Scholarship

The NISAU (National Indian Students and Alumni Union) and ETS TOEFL announced ‘UK-India TOEFL Scholarship. 25 Indian aspirants will get this TOEFL scholarship. This scholarship was launched as part of the celebration of India’s 75th and ETS’s 75th. Candidates applying for undergraduate and postgraduate at a UK university were eligible for this scholarship. Selected candidates will get a chance to win a grant of up to INR 2.4 lakhs.

Non-ETS TOEFL Scholarships
