Apex University PhD Eligibility
- Applicants must have a master's degree or equivalent qualification with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade from any Indian or Foreign Institution.
- Applicants who have obtained 55% marks or Equivalent grades in M.Phil. Degree are eligible for admission.
- A relaxation of 5% of marks or an equivalent relaxation of grade, is allowed for the applicants belonging to reserved categories.
- Applicants seeking admission after a 4-year bachelor’s degree programme should have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade.
- Applicants with Chartered Accountancy (CA) Qualification from ICAI/Cost and Works Accountancy of ICWAI/Company Secretary of ICSI with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade are eligible for admission to Ph.D. Programs in the relevant field.
- GATE score or CSIR/UGC JRF or Lectureship/NBHM/JMET/ CAT/AIMA or equivalent qualification as applicable for regular full-time research scholars is not required in the case of PhD Part-time category candidates.
- Part-time category candidates must submit a No Objection Certificate from the organization/institution in which they are presently employed.
Apex University PhD Selection Process
- Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be required to report for a written test, and interview conducted by the University.
- Selection will be made based on the performance of the candidates in the written test and interview.
- Candidates qualified in a national-level test such as UGC-NET (with JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (with JRF) are exempted from the written test.
- Candidates who are UGC-NET/UGC-CSIR NET/SLET/GATE/CEED/Teacher fellowship holders or have passed the M.Phil programme are also exempted from the entrance test.
