• Research Scholars must present and discuss their research proposal during the interview to demonstrate their understanding of the research process. The presentation should be thorough and well-prepared.
• Candidates must demonstrate sufficient knowledge in two key areas: research methodology and their specific subject domain.
• The proposed research will be evaluated based on its potential to contribute new or additional knowledge to the field and its social relevance.
• Candidates will be assessed based on the following criteria:
• Domain Knowledge
• Research Aptitude
• Interview Performance including soft skills

Documents Required for BMCC Pune PhD Admission

Candidates must bring the below-listed documents for verification at the time of the interview:

• Result of PET Entrance Examination 2025 (If Applicable)
• Photocopy of qualifying test certificates: UGC-NET (Including JRF) / UGC-CSIR NET (Including JRF) / SET / GATE (valid score).
• Photocopy of M.Phil. Degree certificate from SPPU
• Educational certificates (from 10th onwards)
• Caste Certificate
• Validity Certificate (for candidates belonging to the reservation category)
• Non-creamy layer certificate
