SIT PhD 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for admission, candidates must meet the following criteria:-

• Master's degree in Engineering, MCA, M.A., MBA, or B.Tech.
• Exemptions: Qualified candidates in UGC-NET, CSIR NET, GATE, CAT, or similar exams are exempt from the entrance test.
• Additional Criteria: Meeting minimum eligibility doesn't guarantee admission. Departments may set specific criteria, and shortlisted candidates must appear for the admission test.

To apply for admission, Candidates are required to follow these steps:

• Register on the Admissions portal with basic information, create a password, complete the application form for your desired program, and upload necessary documents via the designated link.
• The university will verify information, generate a merit list based on career achievements and/or entrance test rankings, allocate seats accordingly, and notify candidates via SMS and email.
• Review allotment details, submit a one-time admission fee before the specified date, and report to the university campus with original documents and semester fees by the reporting date mentioned in the Admission Offer Letter/email.
