IIIT Trichy released the shortlisted candidates list for the PhD Admission 2024. The PhD Entrance test will be conducted on January 7, 2025, at the IIIT Trichy campus. Selection will be based on written test and interview.

IIIT Trichy PhD Entrance Details

  • The written test comprises of 50 MCQs for 50 marks. The total duration for the test is 1 hour.
  • The question paper consists of 20 marks for general skills (English and Mathematics) and 30 marks for technical skills (Respective discipline).
  • Candidates shortlisted based on the written test performance need to appear for a personal interview.
  • The duration of the interview will be 15 – 20 minutes.
  • Candidates are advised to prepare a PowerPoint presentation (5 slides only) on the research topic followed by questions.
  • Presentation slides should contain a self-introduction (one slide with education qualifications & experience), followed by a tentative research proposal.

Documents Required for IIIT Trichy PhD Admission

Candidates must submit the photocopies of the below-listed documents at the time of document verification:

  • Original mark sheets from class X to degree certificate/provisional certificate
  • No Objection Certificate (for part-time candidates)
  • Government photo identity proof
  • Category Certificate (if applicable)
  • Application Form
